"We’ve stayed at Mount View several times because we love the downtown location, the classy old rooms, service and pool area. This time we discovered what a class act they are. On day 2 of a 2 night stay we returned to a room where the bed was soaked from a water leak in the room above us. The room was unusable and they had no other rooms other than a tiny bunk bed room they use for emergencies. Fortunately that room was across the hall from our wet room. The manager immediately offered to comp that night and give us the bunk room to sleep in. We were able to keep all our stuff in the first room negating the need to pack up everything. On top of that he left us a beautiful bottle of wine to take to dinner. You can really tell how good or bad any company is when you see how they react when things go wrong. Mount View definitely did right by us in an unfortunate situation.

"Loved the vibe and the room was nice. The vibe around the hotel was healthy and chill. The bar has good drinks and the kitchen with outdoor seating is perfect for lounging in the sun. Our favorite part was the filtered water available in the lobby and the mineral bath soak pool and cold water bucket dump feature. We will be back for sure. "

"Absolutely beautiful home with all the extras you could need! We loved our stay and were fortunate to hire a private driver to get us back and forth (this location is a little bit of a drive from the wineries). It was amazing to spend all day visiting wineries, shops and downtown Calistoga to then be able to come back to our only little slice of Heaven! Would definitely recommend!"
