The staff makes this place
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were so kind and helpful when my mother in law fell ill. Lovely property, and wonderful location for Christmas markets.

I will be back
My visit to this Hotel was extremely good. The staff were very friendly, courteous and informative to my needs, especially with regards to the on-site parking which saved me a fortune. The location for Strasbourg was good, as it was close to the centre which made my trip far easier. The rooms were clean, well serviced and comfortable. The breakfast was good, food selection catered for everyone, just what I needed.

The hotel should improve the mattress or add some cover pads to the beds. We spent 3 nights and the bed was too uncomfortable to sleep in. Location and service was fine. The hotel has a tiny lobby and tiny rooms, we had to request a change of room because we couldn’t accommodate 2 mediums bags and a carry on in the classic room.

The location, rooms and service were quite good. The breakfast was rather disappointing. It is conveniently located a short walk to the iconic church, shopping area, Christmas market and lots of restaurants. I would recommend

Hotel is nicely situated, within walking distance to the Christmas market and shops. I loved the design of the rooms and the old world charm with modern conveniences. Hotel staff kindly provided us with recommended restaurants near by and made a dinner reservation on our behalf before we arrived at the hotel. Some family members didn’t find the beds comfortable but I think it comes down to personal preference. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to many of Strasbourg's main attractions. Parking is very convenient in the parking garage right next door. Breakfast was very good. The room was very small and it was all we could do to even fit the luggage in. Not even a hair dryer in the bathroom. Can only give it 3 stars because of the room size.

The Hotel D was conveniently located next to the Palais de Justice and Maison de l'Avocat where I was attending a conference. It was right near the lovely sidewalk along the river and the option of 2 bridges in close proximity to get to the core. Lots of restaurant options nearby (Le Verdict was one of our favourites), great shopping and sight-seeing. The a/c worked well, the room was cleaned every day and the reception was friendly, polite and very helpful. I would definitely recommend :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel D Strasbourg, clean, comfortable room, great aircon ( much appreciated this week!) and friendly helpful staff, especially at the front desk. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the town, and there are lots of great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The area around the hotel is safe and quiet at night.

Nice boutique hotel
We booked the suite rooms on the 5th floor, loved the rooms and beautiful view of the cathedral roof, the hotel is easy walking to all Strasbourg has to offer… Only negative I think the 16 euro charged for breakfast is too much for what it is… but other then the breakfast price I would stay at hotel D again

Quaint and welcoming!
The check-in process was great, staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was our second time staying at this Diana brand hotels and I have to say both were excellent. We lucked out with our room being ready before our check in! Only downside is that there was no interior access to the parking lot and we had to go out and through the car entrance to be able to get our car. Also, having to pay for parking -. Based on my experience with Diana hotels I would definitely stay at another hotel of this brand! Thanks especially to the front desk for the great recommendations!

Great, but consider the parking fees and the view.
Everything was great except - the parking fees, 25€ per night - the view was fully facing, at around 6 meters distance, the wall of the multi store parking building... :-)

overall a wonderful stay
modern, clean, friendly service, nicely priced hotel in beautiful Strasbourg. Overall wonderful experience when visiting Strasbourg with our grand-children. A couple of negatives: rather highly priced breakfast and overnight indoor parking ( but very convenient!!). it takes about 10-15 min walk to the city center (which is OK except when it rains -:)

The staff was amazingly helpful! We were welcomed with smiles and glühwein. We went for the Christmas markets and the location was great. It was within walking distance of the center without being in the middle of all the activities. The room was clean and ample with a minibar and spacious bathroom. Our only complaint was the lack of a bar or true restaurant for guests.

The staff at Hotel D went out of their way to make sure that I had a great stay in Strasbourg. They provided me with excellent restaurant recommendations and helped me when my wallet was stolen. My room had a musty smell and the towels were a bit old and raggy. Other than that, a excellent stay!

Good location and friendly staff. Good German style breakfast. The staff was very helpful and they have a nice exercise room. The rooms are quite small and bathrooms are not really well designed making it difficult to maneuver. But the hotel is very clean and well maintained and walking distance from the tourist sites and university

What a wonderful hotel! Easy walking distance of the train station. The woman at the front desk (don't have her name, blond with glasses) was so kind! Wonderful to arrive and find a smiling desk clerk who checks you in professionally and warmly in less than 2 minutes! The breakfast at the hotel was wonderful- so varied and fresh- everyone will find plenty to please them. The room itself was beautiful- comfortable, clean, well appointed...we wish we had a week there and will most likely return. All in all- a wonderful place! We work in the hospitality industry and have stayed in many wonderful properties- this is one of the best!

The hotel was in a very quiet area and close to the cathedral and the city center. When we arrived the rooms weren’t ready yet. The check in was very smooth and welcoming. The rooms were clean but very small but with all necessary amenities. Very pleasant stay but nothing special about this hotel.
