"We have just spent two days in this fabulous cottage to explore the NC500 without the stress of bringing our motorhomes up this far. "We loved Smitty House! The kitchen was a highlight....a great gathering spot. Loved the layout with the bench and table. Great for morning coffee or evening meal. A lovely, well appointed home. Very well managed. Great communication with Michael. Nicely done! And Tongue? Somebody dropped a "cute bomb" on the place. What a picturesque setting. "More like a large B&B than a hotel. The owners are friendly and attentive. Heather is a great cook and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is no town in the vicinity, so once settled in, don't anticipate going out again. "

"A friendly welcome awaited us at this beautiful property. Our room ( lodge) was stunning. Warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fell asleep to the sound of the river roaring down beside the lodge. Breakfast was served by efficient, very friendly staff and was delicious. Would definetly recommend and hope to return."
