Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning setting. We’ve booked to go again next year. Beautiful walks and a very friendly local pub about 2 minutes walk away.

Family get together
Lovely old Rectory with fantastic views over countryside and plenty space for our family group ranging from aged 7 to age 79
Tiny village with a shop stocking everything.
Pub was nice for a drink, but we didn’t enjoy the food there. Excellent kitchen in house for family cooking. Can definitely recommend this property.

A wonderful stay at the old rectory
We had a fabulous stay at the Old Rectory. The house itself is impressive and plenty of room for a large group. The garden and views are stunning. The location itself was beautiful, with some great walks from the property, a little village shop and pub on the doorstep. The StayCotswolds company was also very professional and communication great. I would highly recommend the property and location to anyone.

Picturesque Cotswold family vacation
The Old Rectory in Miserden was the perfect place for our large family Christmas/New Year Celebration. Couldn't have pictured a better, more scenic Costwolds stay. The house was beautifully decorated with Christmas lights and trees, everyone had their own rooms for ultimate comfort. Not to mention we were right next to gorgeous walking trails and the cutest pub a 1 min stroll down the street. The lawn in the back was perfect for the kids to kick the ball around and play cricket. All this to say the Property Manager was super responsive to my questions. Would definitely go back and/or recommend to others!

70th Birthday Gathering
Our stay at Old Rectory exceeded our expectations in all areas. Beautiful property with very spacious living areas and bedrooms easily accommodating 14 people including 4 children and a dog. Although it was freezing outside (middle of January) the inside of the property was warm and comfortable in all rooms. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms equipped with all the essentials.
Fabulous big kitchen and dining room again equipped with everything one would need to feed a small crowd. Welcome supplies of coffee, tea, milk etc supplied and much more.
We definitely want to come back and experience this property in the summer.

A gem in the Cotswolds
We originally chose the rectory for our family gathering because of its location, but it far exceeded our expectations. The house itself was stunning, and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. The views from the property were breathtaking. It had everything we needed, and being situated in such a charming village made our stay truly special. Lots of walks on the doorstep and a great pub. Would highly recommend.

Annual reunion
The house is absolutely beautiful in a really stunning location. It is tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It was very well stocked with crockery, glasses, cooking utensils etc. The beds were all really comfortable and the whole house was very clean. We were a group of ten women but if we had been a group of 13 I think there would still have been plenty of space for all of us. Great weekend and we hope to come back!

Family break with sons their wives and grandchildren
I have marked the condition category down due to the condition of the lawn on arrival i.e. littered with dog faeces which I had to clear up before allowing my grandchildren anywhere near it.

Very successful family w/e in the Cotswolds
Family w/e get together in a lovely old Rectory in the Cotswolds. This is an annual event and this destination is our best so far. The location was great, and accessibility of the local village and lovely pub was a bonus.
Everything is provided for the guests and it all works very well. The bedrooms were all of a generous size so everybody was happy.
A little more attention to comfort in the sitting rooms to make them feel more homely would be nice. A little more attention in the kitchen to tea towels etc would also be desirable, however these are small constructive comments to add to an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Idilic country retreat
A group of us spent a weekend at The Old Rectory and we had the most wonderful time. The house is beautiful, with six lovely bedrooms, with several tastefully decorated bathrooms.
Downstairs there’s a big, well-equipped kitchen and a spacious dining room right next to it, which made cooking and eating together really easy. We also enjoyed relaxing in one of the lounges with the log burner going in the evenings. The views from the back of the house across the countryside are gorgeous, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating to make the most of it.
On Sunday, we walked just a few hundred yards to the local pub for Sunday lunch, which was excellent. Altogether, it was a fantastic weekend and we’d all love to go back.
