Comfortable hotel and well positioned but felt like a ghost town. Hardly anyone there. Coffee facility in the room would have been nice but drinks in the minibar were included in the price.

Acceptable if u need to be in the area

Big rooms, welcome minibar once for the stay, close to few restaurants and the U bahn. Apart from these there really isn’t any positive to the hotel. Basic breakfast and service (not even an electric kettle in the room).

Generell war das Hotel im roten Flügel schmuddelig (Müll im Flur), Möbel-Verkleidungen waren überall kaputt, Wasserhähne waren undicht. Im 1. Zimmer fehlte ein Kissen bei DZ-Buchung, die TV-Bedienung und das Zimmer war über 30° warm. Die Klimaanlage ließ sich nicht bedienen (Fehlermeldung). Nach dem Zimmertausch (allerdings größeres Zimmer) bot sich eine ähnliche Situation: Safe nicht zu öffnen, trotz mitgegebener Fernbedienung funktionierte TV nicht, Klimaanlage funktionierte wieder nicht - noch nicht einmal Toilettenpapier (!) vorhanden. Die Rezeptionisten schien Ärger gewohnt. Sie wünschte uns Glück, dass im 2. Zimmer die Klimaanlage funktioniere - sie würden umbauen, so dass teilweise ein Defekt erwartbar sei. Sie speiste uns mit Floskeln ab ("einen schönen Aufenthalt"). Fakt ist: Alle von uns gesehenen Zimmer dürften definitiv so nicht vermietet werden!! Im Flur/ Aufzug hörte man den Unmut auch von anderen Reisenden.

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Dormero, da wir ein Musical besucht haben. Die Lage ist hierfür natürlich super. Leider wurde uns zunächst ein Zimmer in einer niedrigeren Kategorie zugeteilt. Dank des wirklich sehr netten Personals haben wir dann doch noch ein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie erhalten. Wir waren im roten Flügel untergebracht. Der Zustand des Zimmers ist, bedingt durch das Alter des Hotels (Baujahr 1993), stark verschlissen und renovierungsbedürftig. Auch die Flure und Aufzüge waren sehr abgenutzt. Im Bad waren starke Wasserflecken in der Dusche, zunächst kam rostfarbenes Wasser aus dem Hahn und die Silikonfugen waren teilweise schon schwarz. Die Minibar war am Anreisetag kostenfrei. Allerdings gab es keinen Kühlschrank und im nach Süden ausgerichteten Zimmer waren es um die 30° C. Entgegen der Zimmerbeschreibung gab es kein Sofa. Lediglich einen Sessel. Wir hatten auch keinen Föhn. Für den TV gab ed keine Fernbedienung. Fazit: Billig, für eine Nacht annehmbar, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal.

Ich hatte das Zimmer 819. Bereits auf dem Weg zu meinem Zimmer bot sich ein äußerst negatives Bild: Im Gang lagen Glasscherben sowie zertretene Salzstangen, was nicht nur unhygienisch, sondern auch gefährlich war. Auch der Vorraum vor dem Aufzug war stark verschmutzt und vermittelte einen insgesamt sehr ungepflegten Eindruck. Im Zimmer selbst setzte sich dieser Zustand fort. Die Fenster waren massiv verschmutzt, und die Steckdosen wirkten, als seien sie seit Jahren nicht gereinigt worden. Besonders besorgniserregend war, dass aus den Wasserhähnen braunes Wasser kam, was aus hygienischer Sicht völlig inakzeptabel ist. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls in einem unzumutbaren Zustand: Die Toilette war nicht ordnungsgemäß gereinigt, und im Waschbecken befanden sich noch die Haare des vorherigen Gastes. Ein derartiger Zustand entspricht in keiner Weise den üblichen Standards und ist für mich absolut nicht hinnehmbar. Mein Aufenthalt wurde dadurch erheblich beeinträchtigt. Zusätzlich kam aus den Wasserhähnen braunes Wasser!

Leider keine gute Erfahrung Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider enttäuschend. Bei der Buchung wurden wir nicht darüber informiert, dass sich das Hotel teilweise in Renovierung befindet – das haben wir erst bei der Ankunft erfahren. Die Renovierungsarbeiten begannen bereits morgens und waren sehr laut, sodass an Erholung kaum zu denken war. Zudem hingen in einigen Bereichen Kabel von der Decke, was keinen guten Eindruck machte. In unserem Zimmer fehlte die Fernbedienung. Das Personal an der Rezeption wirkte leider sehr genervt und nicht besonders freundlich. Insgesamt hatten wir uns deutlich mehr Service und Transparenz erwartet.

Beim Check in über eine halbe Stunde gewartet. Endlich im Zimmer angekommen das große Erstaunen: außer einem Bett und einem Fernseher war das Zimmer komplett leer geräumt. Keine Sitzgelegenheit, kein Kleiderbügel, die meisten Lampen funktionieren nicht, der Kühlschrank war auch nicht gekühlt. Reklamation keine Chance da die Warteschlange an der Rezeption noch länger geworden ist. Am nächsten Morgen von einer freundlichen Mitarbeiterin ein paar Kleiderbügel bekommen und ein Stuhl wurde ins Zimmer gebracht. Am zweiten Tag herrschten heftige Bauarbeiten auf den Fluren. Nach einem ausgiebigen Besuch der Stuttgarter Innenstadt Ankunft am Abend im Hotel. Beim Versuch in das zugewiesene Zimmer zu gelangen war auf der Etage des Zimmers der Lift zugeklebt, eine Tafel warnte: unbefugten ist der Zutritt zur Baustelle verboten! Aber wenn das Zimmer auf dieser Etage ist? Durch die Absperrung gekrochen um ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Im Zimmer gab es kein Wasser mehr! Das Wasser war einfach abgestellt. Runter an die Rezeption. Der Gipfel zu allem vorgefallenen war dann die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, Frau Lämmle, derartige Arroganz wie sie an den Tag gelegt hat ist mir noch nie untergekommen. Sie hat sich benommen als wäre das völlig normal in einem Zimmer auf einer Baustelle ohne Wasser wohnen zu müssen. Zeigte keinerlei Verständnis für das aufgebrachtsein. Nach endloser Diskussion dann am Abend in ein anderes Zimmer umgezogen. Dieses Zimmer war eiskalt, die Heizung funktionierte nicht.
