Good stay, room comfortable and of good size. Lovely location and plenty to see and enjoy. Only issue was the bedroom curtains didn’t close over, so room was light throughout the night and privacy issue being the ground floor room.

The hotel was perfect for our family, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay fabulous! They even had an early breakfast available so that we could enjoy a meal before an early departure! We would highly recommend a stay here!

Overnight stay at the Kulinarium Hotel

A really lovely traditional German hotel with extremely friendly staff and excellent restaurant. Very dog-friendly with good access to walks in the nearby woods. We would definitely revisit and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel highly to others.

Very kind and attentive staff, would make an excellent weekend get-a-way. We stayed here as an incoming American service family and it was a very easy drive to the surrounding US installations. Distinctly German with a top notch restaurant, surrounded by wilderness with hiking and mountain biking. However, I would recommend alternatives on post or in town for incoming American families- only because it can be a bit overwhelming to be the sole American family on a property if you haven’t lived abroad before.

Stopped here for an overnight stay en route to Italy from the UK. Despite being absolutely shattered after the drive we had a few drinks in the garden followed by a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening. We all really liked the location and will definitely return again in future if we are in the area.

This was a very rustic ski lodge atmosphere. Restaurant on premises because there is nothing else in the area. Only 10km from town but not within ease of walking, must drive.

Would be better with air conditioning in the attic. I imagine all other rooms are fine, but on top floor can get very hot. Lovely location, very easy for parking. We have a large vehicle/van. Pretty country hotel.

Beautiful spot. For trip with kids or without. Three nice goats to visit on the property. Only thing to know is don’t count on laundry. It is 1 small machine that takes 4 hours per cycle and need 8 $.50 pieces to operate. Food was great.

Food was excellent and breakfast had the best variety of food out of all hotels we stayed at. Rooms were a good size and clean. Liked that there was a kitchenette in the room even though we didn't stay long enough to use it. Did not like that they didn't seem to be expecting us as the room did not have the beds made up for 4 people to sleep, only for 2. We had to figure out how to set up the couch bed on our own and did not have extra sheets or pillows in the room for the couch bed. Also, that was extremely hard as it was not even a mattress, only very stiff leather so not very comfortable to sleep on.

Excellent place near Stuttgart if you plan to visit places around by car. Tasty local food in restaurant. One small minus, not in hotel, in weather - in the November was rainy and a bit cold :(
