We choose this hotel because it is central we stayed there a couple of times before The room was disappointing but after we asked they changed our room that was a bit better Breakfast was good Staff where friendly But outside the hotel was very dirty due the fastfood places

Basic room for a decent price; however upon check-in, there were not enough room keys and when the front staff programmed the key, it didn’t work even after 5 attempts with 5 different keys. Breakfast was good

The cleaning staff and the breakfast host during the week were great. Other staff were quite short and rude with us. Nightclub below was very loud all night until 5am and trying to sleep was impossible. Mattreses and pillows too old and need replacing

Very handy central location; very friendly staff; very reasonably priced; the whole place was a bit tired and threadbare, though. Clean enough but not spotless. Everything worked more or less, but my room was like time-travelling into the 1980s. Needs refurbishing; breakfast not very appealing; overall decent value for what I paid but not very enjoyable.

Room was great! Nothing fancy, but it’s clean. The only issue I had was the room card did not work upon checking in. We tried 4 times but still didn’t work. The night audit worker got it fixed.

Location was great. Staff was nice. We were in some weird extension to the hotel, kind of a pain to get to. Lobby is very small and gets crowded fast, making it hard to get to elevator. Elevators are very small. My family of 4 had to make two elevator trips with our luggage. Carpets were dirty in room and smelled funny. I had to Get air freshener at the store. Beds and bathroom were clean.

Not so amazing... Location at first glance looks great as its very convenient located. But: loads of night noises from bars, pubs, restaurants and drunk people... Also: you step outside of the hotel and it feels like you are in Ankara or Istanbul. Hotel itself is ok. Good quality beds. Not so good is the shower situation. It all looks a bit like late 70s. Breakfast good, with awful coffee. Staff: indifferent friendly

Great convenient stay

I was travelling by myself and booked a standard single. Everything fully met my expectations and I slept better in the bed than at home! I brought a travel kettle with me which was very handy. The hotel is very convenient to lots of local transport,shopping, and restaurants. I found the internet to be excellent, contrary to some reviews. I streamed multiple videos and Skyped without any problems.

This hotel is ok because you are in the city. The breakfast ist fantastic and the personal very friendly, but the rooms are old old the toilents the tils are crack and the way to your rooms are extremly long. the carpet are dirty and the floor till your rooms ....without word. Never ever the Hotel Royal 400 m away are much better and cheaper clean bad rooms and breakfast great. In this Hotel Novum are the breakfast amazing, but the rooms ....

Location is excellent. Given a room and the internet is so poor, request to change room, given another room on a higher floor and the internet is worst. Room flooded after shower and it takes them few hours to come check. Informed me no room to change to ...... have to stay for 3 days with very very poor internet.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. The rooms are big. And those are pretty much the only advantages. The people at reception are not exactly welcoming. They're not rude, but they're the least welcoming reception in a German hotel I've ever come across. The hotel is a maze... From reception, we had to go up two flights of stairs, walk for a good 3-4 minutes, then go down a flight of stairs to finally get to the room.... And despite being in the back of the hotel there was SO MUCH NOISE every night. I can sleep through anything so it didn't bother me, but I couldn't hear the TV sometimes because of the noise outside. The back street has some parking spaces, but it looks like there were also entrances to buildings, and people would talk there while smoking for hours... Oh and the free water the hotel advertizes is half a scam. You have to do a precise thing to get it but they don't tell you until it's too late...
