Little gem
This was a last minute break, and I was impressed with the room and how friendly the staff were, nothing was too much trouble, we stayed in room 6 this was very comfortable , I would definitely recommend

Noisy room.
We had room 10, the master suite on a warm summer's night. Room facing the street. Had window open. From 5 am there was traffic noise. Disturbed our sleep.

We loved our stay here. Spacious rooms with everything you might need, lovely bar and restaurant and amazing breakfast. Staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again.

Amazing place to stay, the staff were friendly and helpful, tastefully decorated, convenient to walk to the local amenities. Would stay again. Really comfortable bed too. Only small critique was there was no coffee machine in room as stated as well as "welcome treatment" other than that all good.

Great place to stay if you’re in the Suffolk/ North Essex area. Staff were excellent very polite and attentive. Food and drink selection very good and slightly higher end than most pubs but reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again.

Fantastic!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Swan. It isn't cheap, but the price is very good value for money. We couldn't fault anything. The suite we had was superbly appointed and very comfortable. It provided everything we could realistically wish for. The quality of the food provided in the evening and at breakfast was superb. The restaurant is remarkable value too. Best of all however are the people who work here. So helpful and polite. We are already planning our next stay here!!

Amazing hotel, welcoming staff from the moment we arrived. Very clean and modern with a great atmosphere. Room was perfect. Food menu was reduced due to covid but that wouldn’t stop us from returning. Lovely night away. Will definitely be returning.

Great hotel in a lovely location.
Lovely hotel and the room was comfortable, clean and quite modern. Food in the restaurant was excellent although it did take a while to be served. Having said that the staff were getting used to a new menu and new ordering system. They were very attentive whilst I was waiting. Breakfast was continental but very tasty and quite filling. We’ll worth a stay. Thanks to all the staff for making me feel very welcome.

Good service - but not worth the money
Great service and friendly staff, room was above the bar and this led to me not being able to relax in my room. My room was also on the busy main road, which was quite noisy too. The overall stay was good, but not worth £100 per night.

We can not fault our stay. There are only 3 bedrooms but they are excellent. Lounging in the roll top bath with soft lighting was so good after a long day. The food at dinner in the restaurant, which is open to non residents too, was some of the finest dining We had experienced in a very long time. As the only people staying at the hotel the chef came in to make our breakfast just for us. We can’t think of many places like that. The service was impeccable in all areas even to the point of making a cocktail not on their list. Lastly, and by no means least, we loved one of the home made breads at breakfast so much they made us one to tale home. And complimentary too. All in all a faultless stay. Thank you.
