Welcome to Inyo Happy Place — a freshly updated 4-bedroom family cabin with a full game room, nestled on the edge of Sugarloaf in the Big Bear Mountains.
Two living rooms, two levels, and enough space for everyone to spread out. Upstairs is for gathering around the fireplace. Downstairs is for pool, air hockey, basketball, and movie nights on the sectional. This is the cabin where families actually have fun together.

Inyo Happy Place sits on the edge of Sugarloaf — a quiet, residential mountain community just east of Big Bear Lake. The area is heavily wooded, peaceful, and feels genuinely immersed in nature. You're surrounded by forest with wildlife sightings being part of the experience. It's a short drive to everything Big Bear offers, but the vibe here is calm and unhurried — exactly what a mountain trip should feel like.

No A/C — Sugarloaf sits at ~7,000 ft elevation where mountain air keeps things cool naturally; open the windows for a breeze
No hair dryer provided — bring your own if needed
No pets allowed
No smoking, vaping, or candles inside the cabin ($500 fee for smoking indoors)
Quiet hours 10 PM–8 AM — Sugarloaf is a peaceful residential area; local ordinances are enforced
Fireplace — wood-burning; wood is not provided but available at local stores (do not use wet wood)
Grill — propane on honor system; no outdoor wood-burning fires allowed; replace cover after use
Parking — park in designated spots only; no street parking allowed (county rule)
Max 6 guests — occupancy limits are enforced by San Bernardino County
Must be 21+ to book
Exterior security camera — one camera faces the front entrance (no interior cameras)
Mountain elevation (7,000 ft) — weather changes quickly; carry chains Nov–Apr
Trash: No curbside pickup — guests take trash to local Clean Bear disposal sites (addresses provided after booking); keep containers closed to prevent wildlife access
Wildlife is common — bears, coyotes, chipmunks, and other mountain animals live here; keep doors closed, food stored in containers, and never leave food out
Not childproofed — family-friendly but please supervise children, especially outdoors
Late checkout fee: $100 if you don't check out by 11 AM
Please set heat to 55°F when leaving — do not turn off
