"I was very disappointed as I've stayed at Hamptons before. We get it: its a 3 star hotel chain, its not a spa, t's just a hotel room. Regardless, the pillows had virtually no filling in them (I stacked 4 on top of each other - how is that even possible!?) and the mattress was lighter and thinner than a child's. I spent two nights and woke up both mornings with an extremely sore back and headache from the lack of support from both. I asked the staff if some of the rooms had more firm mattresses in case it was mixed but they said they and the pillows were all the same. Obviously, It'a not the staff's fault, it's the cost cutting of the company. I'm not a Karen, but at least 70% of the point of a hotel room is to sleep. Sure, there's a bathroom, possibly breakfast, and a TV to entertain. But the point is to give you rest for the night. If the room can't achieve that, at $175/night, then is it any good?"
