"Amazing village tour with Sheik! It was highly informative regarding land use, nature, and nature’s medicine. Also met a few lovely villagers who were ever so kind in sharing their garden’s ubat, and introduced me to their friendly & beautiful kitties! And then there was Fauzi with his incredible knowledge of the tides, how to foretell a tsunami, and botany. Overall a great stay!"

"Charming mid-size hotel exuding colonial architectural character. The hotel feels like coming home with the calm ambience. The hotel was excellent all round and nicely located on BTU Ferrenghi. Small touches like balcony bathtub were nice surprise. I would say that some parts of my room need minor maintenance (better cleaning of limescale and one of the sink taps wasn’t working). I would definitely come back to this property for another relaxing stay. Thank you. "

"What an absolutely fantastic stay at the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang! From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by this beautiful resort. We especially loved the tranquil atmosphere of the quiet adults-only pool – it was the perfect escape for relaxation. Exceptional Service A special shout-out goes to Michelle, the Front Office Manager. Her attention to detail and genuine care for us was truly remarkable. We were so grateful for the room upgrade she provided; it made our stay even more special. We also have to commend the room service attendant who catered to all our needs with such efficiency and a friendly demeanor. Their service was truly awesome! Every aspect of our stay at the Shangri-La Rasa Sayang exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise!"

"Arrived at the hotel at about 5 pm and was attended to by Staff Rimon at the counter, he is exceptionally welcoming and therefore making my check in especially pleasant. As I had make the booking just a day ago and it seems that the booking has not reflected yet in the system, he kindly explained to me and assured me that it would not be an issue. Additionally as my return flight is pretty late, he also try to accommodate my request for late check out as well as a high floor unit. The hotel also had a shuttle bus that operates in the evening to the nearby Queensbay mall and Rimon as well kindly did a reservation for me to and fro just to make sure that I have a seat on the shuttle. From the hotel is about a 15 minutes drive on the shuttle to the mall :). Just outside the hotels, there are stretches and plenty of food places. My stay here has been exceptionally pleasant and felt very welcoming especially because of Rimon, it nice to see him at the counter with his alway wide and warm welcoming smile :) The hotel booked is a family unit and is 94 sqm in size. It has a nice view of Penang island and that it has 2 bedrooms with 2 bathroom as well as a study room. It comes with also a balcony and also a living and dining area. Both of the bedrooms window have very good city view. We also managed to catch some fireworks on the night of the 28 June :). The decoration of the executive family suites is very modern and it really have the feel of home :). "
