They were incredibly attentive and provided a useful recommendation for a stop on our return journey. Their warm welcome and attentiveness made us feel instantly at home.The cottage itself is delightful: perfectly equipped and wonderfully cosy and warm, even in late October. The setting is ideal—a quiet, rural retreat with lovely gardens and grounds, perfect for disconnecting and unwinding.As for amenities, the electric car charging port was a great, useful feature. It allowed us to charge our EV seamlessly, keeping the car charged for our daily excursions to various National Trust properties.If you're seeking a relaxing, high-quality escape with genuine and attentive hosts, we highly recommend this property!"

"Stephen was a wonderful host showing us our room on arrival and explaining arrangements there. Room 3 was extremely well appointed with our own entrance and outdoor space. The small kitchen area included a microwave great for a cosy meal in. The continental breakfast was amazing and really set you up for the day. Set in quiet countryside outside Bideford with easy access to local attractions and exploring the countryside. A really relaxing break for us and would definitely recommend staying here."
