friendly welcome, the accommodation is approx 4 years old ,so it is in very good condition , ample parking and the food in the pub next door was good.

Very modern & very clean rooms. Comfortable beds & breakfast in the Pub & Grill was very good. Warm & welcoming staff in both hotel & pub made the stay an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend staying here over any other hotel in Wootton Bassett.

Business trips made easy

I had a fantastic stay at The Churchill in Swindon. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—especially the beds. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is convenient, with free parking and a great pub and grill next door. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable visit

Meeting up with family, this was the halfway point. Christmas shopping at the Swindon Outlet and family time. Really enjoyed our stay.

Motorbiking Weekend

A conveniently located hotel just off the M4 with a short walk (1 mile) to town facilities. Pub/restaurant located in the adjacent building. Friend;ly and helpful hotel staff made the stay very enjoyable.

You get what you pay for, and this fit our needs for a convenient, clean, inexpensive place to stay for one night with A/C (it was unseasonably hot in England while we were there). The property was clean and easy to access from the road. Pub next door was good and accessible. Staff was nice. On the negative side, the bathtub drained poorly, which meant that by the end of the shower you were standing calf-deep in water. No amenities to speak of, meaning that there wasn't even hair conditioner. Bottom line - this is not a glamorous experience, nor did I expect it to be for what we paid. It was clean, and it worked for one quick night. I wouldn't stay longer than that, but one night was fine.

Shame there was no chef! Had to get taxis to get food, otherwise the staff were amazing, felt sorry for them as think it was down to poor management (the lack of food)

Friendly and sympathetic

We stayed as a family of five. The Hotel was spaceous and clean. Staff very friendly. Food and drink was fine and breakfast choices were many. Everything from buttermilk pancakes to omelets and full English breakfast, as well as buffet choices. Service was very friendly and if we needed anything this was no problem. Our son forgot his headphones on check-out and when we called, they had already been found and will be sent to us. All in all we had a very good time and a big thank you to the people at "The Churchill".

First off i should say im a big fan of the Churchill Inn, I've stayed here several times in the last couple of years whilst working in the area, and i will often go out of my way to stay here. I like the accommodation and the restaurant is very good. It is probably my favourite hotel, and i often recommend it to friends and colleagues. Unfortunately, this trip was not quite up to par. A few minor issues and recent changes left me a little disappointed. Overall, and generally, the facilities are good, ample parking, great staff, good menu and great food.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the man on the hotel reception when we arrived and our waitress in the restaurant. Stayed a year ago and was reallly pleased to see that high room and food standards were still the same.

The room was clean and big. it feels new and the pub next door was decent. it was a great location to explore Bath, the Cotswalds, Stratford, Stonehenge, and Wells/Glastonbury. There were some staffing shortages that led to some hiccups, but that was situational and shouldn't be a problem moving forward.

We stayed at The Churchill and really enjoyed our time here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-presented, making it easy for our family to relax after a day exploring the Cotswolds. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. It’s in a good location for visiting nearby attractions, and parking was easy and convenient. We also appreciated that it was quiet at night, so everyone got a good rest. Overall, it’s a great value stay for families looking for comfort without breaking the budget. We’d happily stay again if we’re in the area!

A pleasant place to stay

I've not stayed in a Greene King hotel before (I've plenty of experience of their pubs though!) but it was a nice place to spend a night. The hotel seems fairly newly built and is clean and comfortable. Pros: the bed had plugs and USB sockets right next to it (I hate hotels that make you plug your phone in on the other side of the room). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us extra towels as soon as we asked. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, which honestly is all you really need. Cons: about the only downside was that the shower head is one of those that is fixed to the wall (or actually the ceiling, it being one of those "rainforest" shower heads that are currently so popular). I personally much prefer a shower on the end of a hose so that you can properly wash all of yourself, not just your hair! We didn't try the adjacent pub for our evening meal but it looked like a decent place to eat. Overall this was a very pleasant place to spend a night during our travels.
