Quiet apartment, about 40 m² / 440 sq ft, with a separate bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and with south facing balcony overlooking three 4000m / 13000 ft peaks. The apartment can sleep up to four adults. Only minutes and a fabulous train ride away from Zermatt and the Matterhorn. It is perfect in order to avoid the pricey Zermatt apartments and if you want to be able to cook dinner yourself. It is perfect for couples or a small family. And did I mention the pool!?!
The apartment is on the first floor but accessible by stairs or an elevator. The parking garage is accessible by the same elevator. It is a non smoking and pet free apartment. The TV offers Swiss, German, and some foreign language programs. There is also a WiFi and a Nintendo Wii for use. The kitchenette is fully equipped for four persons incl. a fondue set, coffee maker, toaster and an electric kettle. The apartment comes with fresh towels, bed sheets bed linen.
You can access the pool for free which is a elevator ride away in the same building. There is also a gym and a sauna for the guests use included in the price. Only the tanning bed is not included in the price. The house offers a reception in the same building.
The Monte Rosa is on the north side of village at the entrance to the village. It is not surrounded by other houses, just by nature. The closest things are Lake Schali and the Matter Vispa Creek. The train station to Zermatt as well as the village center is around 700 m / less than 1/2 mile from the Monte Rosa. In the train station you can find an "Avec" store which sells everything a traveler needs. Across the station there is a "Coop" market where you can buy everything for the daily life and also a restaurant as well as a tavern. Couple meters / yards away is the Post Office and a fast food take away offering pizza, kebabs, and other items like that.
Täsch is - unlike Zermatt - accessible by car and you have a reserved covered parking space in the parking garage. During the winter you can use our private train station to get into Zermatt or you use the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch Train station which provides the year round Shuttle Service to Zermatt and also offers train connections to and from Visp. There are also taxis ride for hire to get into Zermatt. We have an arrangement with one taxi service and you get a discounted low price to get to Zermatt. You will be pick up at the Monte Rosa and go to Zermatt downtown next to the train station. There is also a separate bike storage room for your use. In the winter you can store your ski equipment there.

Auch unser 7. Sommeraufenthalt im Monte Rosa war wieder ein besonderes Erlebnis. Mit unseren Gastgebern hatten wir angenehme Gespräche; kleine Probleme wurden sofort gelöst.
In der Ferienwohnung mit Terasse nach Süden fanden wir alles nötige, um uns erholen und selbst verpflegen zu können. Das Schwimmbad mit Blick auf das Kleine Matterhorn und das Breithorn ist schon was besonderes. Das Auto stand die ganze Zeit sicher in der Tiefgarage; hoch zur Täschalp fuhren wir lieber mit dem Taxi.
Das wolkenlose Wetter in den ersten beiden Augustwochen war fast zu schön und zu warm zum Wandern; ab 2500 m Höhe war die Temperatur dann aber angenehm.
Schwimmbad wurde 14 Tage nicht gereinigt.
Wohnung soweit Ordnung. Schlafzimmer das Bett ist eine Katastrophe. Jede Bewegung auf der durchgehenden Matratze setzte sich in Wellenbewegungen durch das Bett fort.
Alles bis auf eine Kleinigkeit sehr gut. Was ich nicht verstehe, ist die Sache, die Leiter im Hallenbad, wahrscheinlich seit längerer Zeit, gefährlich locker ist. Sonst kann ich nur empfehlen.
Sehr schöne Wohnung, guter Blick auf die Berge.

Schwimmbad in die Jahre gekommen. Einstiegsleiter am Boden nicht befestigt.
Der Hausmeister hat es nicht geschafft die Küchenlampe in den 6 Tagen wo wir da waren zu reparieren.
Jeden Tag konnten wir uns am Ausblick auf das Breithorn und das kleine Matterhorn erfreuen. Das Objekt ist sehr gepflegt und die Wohnung sehr ordentlich. Auf jeden Fall eine empfehlenswerte Alternative zum teureren Zermatt.
