"Staff and breakfast were the standout highlights, and the location was solid, too. The only downside was the room key setup. Instead of keycards, they use traditional keys and ask you to leave your key at the front desk whenever you go out. I understand the reason, since it helps prevent lost keys, but it can be a bit awkward when coming back late. There is someone at the front 24/7, but if I came back around 2 or 3 a.m., I sometimes felt bad waking them up. Also, the Wifi was frustratingly bad. They were very thoughtful and often asked if I had an early tour or trip so they could be prepared, which was appreciated. But as a solo traveler who likes making spontaneous plans and staying out late, the setup felt a little cumbersome at times, almost more like a well-run Airbnb than a traditional hotel. That said, the staff were lovely, the breakfast was fresh and excellent, and I think this would be a great place for a family stay. Full context, I had the smallest / cheapest room, so no comments on the room itself.""
