No way to warm the room that I could find. The bathroom had no rim to stop shower water from spreading all over the bathroom floor and making a mess.

This hotel stands out in Tamworth. Extremely friendly and helpful staff- nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are very well equipped, fresh and spotless. The kitchen delivers an exceptional Indian menu at a very competitive price. Well worth a visit, and only 5 mins from the National Memorial Arboretum.

The hotel was lovely and the staff. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing. We never book for breakfast included when we book hotels but the write up was so good we paid the extra to stay here and try it. When we came down to breakfast we were informed that as we were the only ones staying they didn’t bother getting the chef in. Nice! We were offered some toast which we had and then headed off into town to buy breakfast which then added to our expenses. We weren’t offered any refund. Very disappointing as the place was so lovely.

Accommodation with an Indian twist!
Stayed overnight - rooms recently refurbished and very clean and comfortable, excellent shower and despite overlooking main road - reasonably quiet. 4 of us had a curry (their speciality) and there were 4 empty plates! Excellent! We also had breakfast the next morning and this was fabulous too! I had masala beans on toast which was a wonderful spicy start to my day and my wife had a full english which was huge! Plenty of complimentary sundries too! The staff, including the owners - a lovely family from the Punjab region could not do enough for us - delightful. Would heartily recommend.

Beautifully decorated modern room. I was in one of the smaller rooms but it was perfect for a business stay, well laid out and impeccably clean. The food in the pub was brilliant and I massively recommend one of the mix grills from the Indian menu! Good choice of drinks too.

I travelled solo for business and the staff were very welcoming. The food in the restaurant was delicious, my only comment would be the breakfast is very good even though no cooked food and could be presented/ laid out a little better. The fact someone said it’s only continental make you think it’s not very good when in fact it’s extremely good with a toaster and waffle heater provided. The drinks are made freshly and presented in lovely clean crockery. Would recommend

Lovely people, bar and food. Only down side was the cooking fumes that you could visbly see in the room. No doubt this was bad luck due to the wind direction though

Great room for a one night stay over in Tamworth, clean and comfy bed. Staff were amazing. Very helpful and pleasant. Menu and food downstairs were absolutely incredible, best meal I’ve had in ages. Looking forward to staying again next trip over.

I stayed 1 night and at 3.30am a man came into my room waking me up which is clearly a frightening situation. I was unable to sleep after that. The minimum I expect from a hotel is to feel safe in my room & to be able to sleep. After multiple attempts to get a refund the hotel has confirmed the events as I describe but just say it was a mistake, they have apologised & the guy who came into my room was very nice about it so they are offering no recompense for it happening. They have failed to recognise the potential repercussions of their mistake or the impact on me. This is not customer service in my book!

Was a 5 star venue but service has gone downhill
Stayed here recently and booked another stay but due to a dramatic change in my health and an urgent doctors appointment Monday I had to cancel. I offered evidence for this but was refused a refund on my prepaid night. Gutted as I was planning on using this place regularly to visit family. But with no compassion or understanding, I won’t be returning. Thank you for adding stress to an already stressful weekend!

We loved this place, a little gem, all members of staff were friendly chatty and helpful, whoever is managing this is doing a great job, people seem to actually enjoy working there. We had an evening meal in the pub which was lovely too, the room number 19 was small but had everything we needed

the appearance of the rooms were very good. Only niggle we had was the cooking smells and having to keep the AC on, as the room we stsyed in was very warm... the noise of the unit had made it hard to have a goodnight sleep. though the food in the bar was excellent.

What a find! Great hotel, recently refurbished, super comfy beds and stylish bathrooms. Good location for town yet close to exiting the town by car. Simple yet efficient breakfast service and the best curry in town in the evenings. I will not even look anywhere else shod I ever need a hotel again in Tamworth.

The check in process was a little strange as you have to go to the pub counter but it was very quick and the room was very comfortable and well appointed with a fantastic shower! My only complaint about the room was that it was hot and we could not adjust the temperature but there was a fan in the room so we used that! Make sure you book dinner in the hotel as they serve the most amazing curries - best one of our trip!!!!!

First time we have been toTamworth. Hotel was just what we wanted. Excellent location friendly staff and comfortable bed. Hotel had just tecently had a refurb and was lovely and clean and couldn't be faulted. Breakfast although just continental was plentiful with lots of choices. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

I arrived at the property to check in ,only to be told that my room had been double booked,and that there was no room available.the website still showed that 2 rooms were available at this time but that wasnt the case apparently. I was given several excuses from the system being faulty to late bookings not being logged ,but not good enough really ,it still didnt find me a room for the night. the place itself seemed nice but be wary when booking and double check before travelling like i did only to be let down
