Absolutely love this hotel, perfect location, stunning views!! Beautiful Pool --overlooking the ocean- Highly professional and trained staff -- especially Danilo who referred us restaurant referrals and things to do. Staying at the Metropole Hotel was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a perfect location in Taormina. Their recommendations for places to visit both in and outside the town, as well as dinner reservations, were spot on. Truly a must-stay when visiting Taormina.

The star of my stay was Marco, the night porter. When it turned out I didn't have a ticket for my home journey, he was instrumental in getting me home at the right time. He researched the logistics required to make a flight on the other side of the island, and I made it with literally minutes to spare. Without his help, I would have been delayed at least 24 hours, if not more. I am also grateful to Ambra for recommending the restaurant Raya, where I had the best meal of my stay. As for the hotel itself, the amenities feel more 4-star than 5-star, aside from the location, the amazing jewellery in the lobby and the entrance. The pool was freezing. But the people who work there are wonderful.
