Everything about the hotel was excellent including the restaurant which we used twice. Stunning views, relaxing pool, lovely room with a view of Mt Etna, friendly helpful staff. The regular, timely shuttle service down the hill makes visiting the town easy.

Excellent stay and would thoroughly recommend. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, rooms tastefully decorated and furnished and the swimming pool was such a relaxing space during the hot weather of our visit. Oh and views of Mt. Etna were stunning. The hotel shuttle bus for a small fee was essential due to the location up the hill.

Taormina Hilltop Hotel

Loved our stay at Villa Angela. The views from our balcony were amazing! High up on a hill, but the shuttle service to town was very handy. The entire hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good. We very much enjoyed our stay.

This property was incredible. My only regret was staying only one night. The suite was so spacious with two balconies with stunning views. Huge jacuzzi in its own room apart from the bathroom. I loved the stunning artwork in the hotel. The breakfast had a huge selection and was incredible. The pool was too cold to swim but with those views, who cares. It is also surrounded by delicious restaurants if you don’t want to take their shuttle to town. The drive up is a bit scary, but worth it for the views. Located between Taormina and Castelmola.

A real gem

Fantastic little hotel, very quiet and relaxing. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room with large terrace and view of Mount Etna. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Nice pool area with plenty of sun loungers whatever time of day, some days we virtually had it to ourselves! The shuttle service down to town is a great touch too! A real gem of a find.

Getting to the property was difficult and finding the entrance was very hard. Parking onsite is very limited but the staff was great at helping us navigate. Room service for was subpar at best but convenient. There is a lot of construction on the way so map out alternate routes prior to arriving and departing. Other than that, the venue and staff are superb. It's very beautiful there. They do provide a shuttle to downtown which is very easy to locate.

Loveddddd this hotel! Everything about it was perfect and the staff was very accommodating. This hotel is located up a mountain so the only way into town is by shuttle, taxi or driving. Do not recommend driving here! We didn’t have any issues getting a shuttle, however the last one is at 11:45pm so if you’re trying to have a night out you’ll have to figure out your own way back. Overall, great experience with a great view!

We booked a two bedroom unit and we were looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy it. Lovely hotel but in trying to use the large jet tub that was the focus of the bathroom, there was no water pressure for hot water and rendered it useless. Could not be fixed and was likely not a new problem. One person showered in the evening and the water pressure was extremely poor. In the morning there was no hot water at all as the boiler was apparently off so no one showered in the morning. One of the beds was notably poorer than the other bed and experienced significant discomfort. As a result, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel. It was the end of their season but the price should have been more appropriately adjusted to align with condition and experience. There is a free shuttle to town which is very nice and convenient.

The hotel is fabulous with very friendly and attentive staff. The food is fresh and delicious and there is a wide drink selection. Room was comfortable and well appointed with a lovely balcony area. Pool was clean as was the pool area. Shuttle bus service into town was excellent.
