The hotel was new looking and very clean. Beds are fine and the aircon is great and silent. The hotel was quite silent in general. However the pool was closed due to problems with the water quality and the fridge in our room didn’t work. We tried to contact the staff about this concern and met a woman who didn’t speak English and didn’t even care to look at us while talking to us. She had an English speaking colleague tell us that “it’s a mini bar, not a fridge. It’s not supposed to cool”. Probably the most ridiculous explanation in history.

Very friendly stay, we had decided to spend one night and stayed an extra night, got a good deal from the front office. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would recommended it without a doubt

Westotel is an excellent hotel and I would strongly recommend. However, the breakfast situation could be improved. By 8.15 am the breakfast room was becoming untidy and the staff didn't seem to notice. On day 2 there was not enough water to boil the eggs and it was lukewarm. And no yoghurts were brought out. One person let the side down. She was sullen and didn't give the professional care that the rest of the staff did.
