Better than expected!
Having stayed in many varieties of hotels/rooms we had no idea what we were going to receive. Well it was more than expected comfortable, clean and looked fresh/new; just a shame we had so little time to relax, enjoy it or even try the breakfast!

Great Room, brilliant price.
After reading the comments I was unsure about check in but there are signs (home made) as soon as you drive in the main gate. They lead to the parking area where the rooms are and the adjacent reception area is a 1 minute walk in between the buildings. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. There was tea/coffee making equipment, a small (but adequate) TV and a comfy double bed. The bathroom was clean and basic with a very good shower. The extractor fan was loud and stayed on a few minutes after the light was switched off but I coped with it as it worked well. There were shampoo, shower gel and body lotion mini bottles in the room. There is lots of parking right outside the door. I was next to the kitchen, which no-one seemed to use. Had I known about this I would have used it as I prefer to make my own meals. The area is not very good for entertainment but right next to where I was working. Didn't try the WiFi as I always take my own dongle so I can download movies/work programmes more easily. All in all, a very good room for an excellent price. I will definitely return.

A great value room ...
Great location, near to a couple of pubs. The room had more than enough space. The shower was huge. Clean and tidy ... would highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel in a quiet area
This is a very nice facility located on the University campus. Very quiet location a bit off the beaten path with neat rooms and facilities. A little walk into the town centre, but wonderful walking paths make it an easy and very enjoyable walk.

Information about where to go to register (which is not at room location) needs to be improved & made more prominent. The signs say Telford Campus but the taxi companies say Priorslee Clicking on "Telford Campus Contacts and Opening Times" provides no such information: The room was fine exactly as expected. The corridor smelled very bad. The building was very noisy (?heating etc not human noise for the most part).

Not bad for the price
A very basic room but clean and well presented. The TV didn'thave an ariel attached and the heating didn't work. Not a major problem though. The service was good, the place was quiet and it was very good value.

We stayed 3 nights , the rooms were very clean and beds comfortable . the WiFi was good and the surroundings quite. We were really pleased and will certainly stay there again .

Basic but very fair and comfortable.
The room I had was, by hotel standards, on the small side and basic. However I will also say it was clean, comfortable, and private. No problem with noise. The bed was large for a single and comfortable. Parking (once the right part of the campus was found) was free and readily available. The Gentleman on the main reception was friendly and helpful. All this at the best price in the area I'd say. 2 points to note. On arrival at the campus take the first left into the parking for conferences (as shown on the campus maps). Checking in is at the main Campus reception. Signs are clear from from the conference parking and it is a short walk.

Halls of residence accommodation including free parking and breakfast at a very competitive rate. The room wasn't big, and definitely this isn't the place for a romantic break, but it suited me fine - late check in after 10.30 at night wasn't a problem, and me being a bit late checking out in the morning was also accommodated without bother - in general the staff I dealt with were fantastic. It is about a 30-40 minute walk from the town centre, and the location wouldn't maybe be one I'd recommend for a holiday without a car, but it was perfect for my needs bar the waterproof mattress protector, which made for a slightly sweaty night!

Very difficult to find accommodation.
Very difficult to find accommodation. You need to go to the main campus reception and ask for a key-card. You'll then be told which dormitory you're room is located at. This is effectively (from what was gathered) a students dormitory that is being sold as hotel accommodation. Cleanliness was good to be fair. Facilities very basic. Do not believe this is good value to be honest. Was so tired all I'd wanted was somewhere to sleep. Could not and would not recommend.

Good quality clean room with comfortable bed and shower. Service was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is canteen style and could be improved. Probably better value to use the Wetherspoons in town. Walkable from town centre and taxis are cheap.

Misleading Advert - this is not a hotel and it is not even a single accommodation building. Instead you are allocated a room within various accommodation blocks right across the campus. Upon entering the campus - there is no sign or indication where you are staying and you have to report to the University Campus 'reception' to be given directions to which 'block' you are staying in - and then given a map and directions of where to drive to. This is not made clear upon booking and I spent nearly 15 minutes trying to work out where I had to report to. Breakfast is not served in the same block as your allocated room but instead in the University Refectory along with loads of students etc. Price is quite competitive for what you get - my double room was fine, clean and spacious with TV and WiFi etc. - but felt quite lonely as I appeared to be the only occupant in the whole block overnight - could be quite spooky for an unaccompanied female guest. Good pub with good value home cooked food just across the road for evening meal.

Clean but simple room - no complaints though as it suited me perfectly for a 2 night business stay. Staff were really helpful in all manner of ways (providing information, directions etc.).

I booked it for a conference next day but was not impressed with the room size, nor the showering facility as it was to small a space. There was a constant tapping noise as if the central heating was faulty because the room was very hot when i retired for the night.
