The property was spotless and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would say that a more detailed initial orientation to the spa and baths would have been helpful. We actually had no idea as to how things work, where exactly the facilities are, etc. Otherwise, this is a great location. We hope to return!

Better than the rating suggested!
They couldn’t find our reservation when we first checked in, despite my having the hotels.com checking number. But they eventually disbarred about 10 minutes, and all was fine from there on! Ask for a corner room (216 or 316). We had a mineral water hot tub that we thought would be side by side - but we were in two separate rooms side by side! Wasn’t worth the cost but was an interesting experience.

This hotel advertise itself is a thermal mineral spa That was completely not true there was no thermal mineral water to be had The receptionist was clueless she had bad service she was rude and how these people that a four star rating I never know When I arrived I had a called him five times before they answer their phone It took me a very long time to sign in normally a hotel will ask for a copy of your passport and then sign you in. They had us fill out a form that took a half an hour before we could check in it was ridiculous We went up to our room and you had to go down five stairs to get to your bedroom it was a very dangerous place to be I called the front desk but they did not answer so I had to get in the elevator and go downstairs and talk to the clueless receptionist. I then went back up to my room call HOTELS.COM and have them find me another hotel in the area which was very good and HOTELS.COM treated me very well I would take this hotel completely off your list as they are very disrespectful to the customer they do not communicate in a four-star hotel should speak English wall to wall

Dear Mr. Edmonds, Raymond, In order to clarify your comment it is up to us to inform: - You have arrived at our hotel with a negative attitude towards our employees, disrespecting, pressing and with a loud voice (shouting). Nevertheless our staff have always been friendly, understanding and helpful. - You did not want to stay at our hotel for any other reason. No-charge cancellation has been granted to you, and yet your attitude has not changed. -You wanted a taxi and it was arranged by our staff, although it was not the best way. Other guests witnessed the event and were not comfortable with their presence. We cannot allow any employee to be disrespected, even if they have all the limitations of the world! What is not true! Just to clarify, you have never stayed in our property, you just have visited our reception. In Portugal we like to Welcome you, and in Águas do Gerês Hotel we make this motto our main conduct! Location was good. Few amenities available in room and especially spa. No shampoo, tissue, cream etc... we booked the swimming pool and massage. Once we were done we took a shower and, except for body wash there were no products to get ready. This is the first time I have experienced this when booking thermal spa and bath treatments. However, the massage was excellent.

Excellent Grand Hotel in the mountains.
Excellent short stay in this wonderful hotel. Rooms were spacious, even though we'd had an extra bed put in. Everything about this hotel gives you a sense of confidence in the hotel. The lounge is large and comfortable, the bar is well equipped and service is speedy. The restaurant is first rate. This is an excellent hotel hidden away in the mountains.

Excelente hotel
The room is very comfortable and clean. It's only worth not having a minibar. Wonderfull breakfast. Staff very friendly.

Amazing location
Great location, nice clean room, great breakfast. Free Access to a nearby park, great for walks and to recharge and connect with nature. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Koselig hotell midt i Geres
Koselig hotell midt i sentrum. Gangavstand til alt, også til fjellturen. Fint rom, god frokost. Litt skuffende at basseng/spa ikke var inkludert i prisen.

Hotel muito bom para 3*, a piscina apesar de fora do hotel, é de fácil e rápido acesso. E vale bem a caminhada até lá pelo fantástico parque das termas. Piscinas enormes, extremamente limpas e com muito pouca afluência. Quartos grandes e modernos. Pequeno muito bom e muito bem organizado.

Foram 2 noites, num quarto standard, bastante agradáveis. Quarto e restante hotel muito confortável e com boa limpeza. Pequeno almoço bastante variado e o restaurante, apesar de apenas ter jantado apenas uma vez, foi 5 estrelas. A equipa do hotel dedicada e atenciosa.

Quartos com escadas com idoso fique atento
chegar ao hotel foi bem fácil e a paisagem realmente é muito bonita As surpresas começam ao chegar pois o estacionamento é próximo porem em uma subida íngreme e a entrada péssima e com sinalização do local de estacionamento escrito num muro deixei as malas na porta e fui estacionar o carro e ao entrar no quarto a maior surpresa ficou por conta de escadas (sim escadas !!) dentro do quarto que em nenhuma descrição dos quartos foi mencionada a existencia Ou seja para ir ao banheiro desce e sobe escada! viajava com minha mae de 84 anos e digamos não foi bom O café da manha é bom e conforme prometido acesso ao parque com as piscinas externas que também são distantes para idosos com restrições de locomoção se eu repetiria? Acho que não

Ofrecen servicio de parking pero no es cierto. El parking es un número de plazas limitadas hasta que se agotan. Nos quejamos por la situación y NO nos dieron ninguna solución. Aparcar fuera es realmente difícil en temporada alta.

Très bel établissement propre et un super resto le meilleur du Gères! Par contre pas de piscine il faut marcher 800m se rendre dans le parc pour découvrir une piscine bondée et donc trop petite ! Pas de place pour poser sa serviette Le parking idem très loin de l’hôtel !!! Dommage sinon bien
