Free Wifi. A spacious, bright flat in the heart of the peacefull village of Tessennano (south Maremma 400mt./1132ft. above sea level). The temperature in the flat is fresher than outside in summer, assuring very pleasant nights! Perfect to visit the treasures of Etruscan art, the medieval villages, the Renaissance palaces and enjoy the beautiful seaside along the Mediterranean coast and Lake Bolsena, and the hot water spas, as well as taste the typical local produce (wine, olive oil, artichokes, asparagus, meat and cold cuts, cheeses, hazelnuts, chestnuts, etc) in the area’s lovely restaurants. All these opportunities are at no more than a 5 to 45 minute car drive from the flat.

The apartment is smartly furnished and fully equipped; it has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two single beds; a living room with a sofa, fireplace and open-plan kitchen; a bathroom with a spacious shower cabin, toilet, bidet and sink. An external staircase with 15 steps reaches the entrance door. A further 12 steps inside the flat lead to the living room. The flat has during winter its own gas-fired heating. On request: on the ground floor, there is an independent small room organised as a bedsit with bathroom en suite (shower, toilet, sink, bidet).

Excellent appartment with even better host! The appartament is very clean and equiped with everything you need for comfortable stay. Kitchen equipement is especially impressive! Donatella is a warm and very helpful person. She provided as with detailed guide what to see and where to eat in the area. We had only 4 days, so was able to use only small part of Donatella's recommendations. We were really satisfied with our stay in Tessennano. Joanna & Grzegorz

Ferien in Tessennano

Ausgangslage: Da wir seit über zwar Jahren wegen Covid keine Ferien im Ausland mehr gemacht haben und in den Flughäfen (2022) chaotische Situationen herrschten, habe wir uns kurzfristig entschlossen mit dem Auto nach Italien zu fahren. Im Internet sind auf fewo-direkt.de gestossen und wurden dort auf das Appartement von Donnatella Bini aufmerksam. Das Appartement im Dorf von Tessennano. Tessennano liegt ca. 2 Autostunden nördlich von Rom in Latium (gleich neben Toskana). Tessennano ist ein kleines Dorf mit etwa 350 Einwohnern und sehr ruhig. Es gibt eine kleine Bar und ein kleiner Einkaufladen. In der Umgebung gibt es aber diverse Einkaufsläden (Lidl, Coop, etc.). Ein Auto ist beinahe Pflicht, jedoch haben die Landstrassen oft Schlaglöcher und die Italiener fahren gerne etwas auf. Also immer gut aufpassen und nicht drängen lassen, auch wenn mal einer wild mit den Händen wedelt ;). Man gewöhnt sich aber daran. Die Gegend: Wer gerne historische Ausgrabungen (Etrusker) und Museen besucht und gerne fernab vom Massentourismus Ferien machen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Auf alle Fälle sollten Sie Tuscania und andere Orte in der Gegend besuchen. Zum Meer fährt man in 45 Minuten und zum Bolsena See ist im in 30 Minuten. Wir fuhren einmal zum Meer baden, als wir jedoch den Bolsena besucht haben, gingen wir oft da hin zum Baden. Einfach herrlich! Man kann auch Boote mieten und auf dem See eine kleine Tour unternehmen. Zudem haben wir in der Gegend verschiedene Termalquellen besucht. Einige liegen in der Natur und sind kostenlos. Allerdings ist ein gutes Navi von Vorteil. Restaurants gibt es genügend. Donnatella: Donnatella hat uns eine umfangreiche Liste mit Ausflugsmöglichkeiten zusammengestellt, welche sehr hilfreich ist. Wir mussten kaum was planen, sondern schauten uns am Abend die Liste an und wählten einfach was aus und fuhren am nächsten Tag los. Obwohl Donnatella Grippe hatte, stand sie uns stets bei Fragen per WhatsUp zur Verfügung. Da wir kein Hotel gebucht haben, muss man ja eine seriöse Ansprechperson haben. Donnatella ist sehr herzlich und für all ihre Anliegen sehr bemüht, das war bereits beim ersten Kontakt so. Dafür bedanken wir uns bei ihr an dieser Stelle nochmals gerne. Das Apartment: Das Appartement ist sehr familiär eingerichtet und alles Wichtige ist vorhanden. Ideal für eine Familie mit zwei-drei älteren Kindern. Abschliessend: Meine Frau ging gerne in die Terme di Vulci. Kostet zwar was, aber sehr wohltuend...

Casa accogliente pulita e spaziosa curata nel minimo dettaglio molto bella anche dove si trova con il suo bel paesaggio , gestita da persone eccezionali e disponibili sicuramente ci ritorneremo! La consiglio veramente a tutti per chi vuole fare una vacanza riposante....

Wunderbare Unterkunft für einen traumhaften Urlaub!

Wir möchten uns als Erstes bei Donatella bedanken! Dank ihrer fürsorglichen Kommunikation hatten wir von Anfang an ein gutes Gefühl, schon bevor wir an der Unterkunft ankamen. Vor Ort begrüßte Sie uns persönlich und sehr herzlich, erklärte einiges zur Wohnung und beantwortete unsere Fragen. Dadurch, dass sie hervorragend Englisch spricht, gab es überhaupt keine Verständigungsprobleme. Sie war für die Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes immer erreichbar, wenn wir eine Frage hatten und hatte viele Tipps für uns, was man in der Umgebung von Tessennano unternehmen könnte. Die Wohnung sowie die Ausstattung sind so wie beschrieben und in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Die Bilder vermitteln einen sehr guten Eindruck von den Zimmern. Alles war sehr sauber und wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an sehr wohl gefühlt. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind ebenfalls genügend vorhanden. Es gab sogar Sonnenschirme und eine Kühltasche, die wir mit an den Strand nehmen konnten. Die Küche mit dem Gasherd hatte alles parat, was wir benötigten. Die Waschmaschine sowie der Geschirrspüler sind ebenfalls in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer ruhigen Lage (kleines Dorf) und eignet sich sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Entdeckungsfahrten. Egal ob man dabei nur das nähere Umland bereist oder ein wenig weiter fährt, es bieten sich zahlreiche wunderschöne Ausflugsziele an. Wer Inspirationen für seine Ausflüge benötigt, findet sicher etwas in den zahlreichen Reiseführern aus der Region, die es in der Wohnung gibt. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter!

Urlaub zwischen Meer und See

Everything as described and perfect. All needed things availabel. Location was a goot start point for driving to the sea or lake and to discover many beautiful places. Die Ferienwohnung entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht (Kochzubehör, Geschirrspüler, Salz, Pfeffer, Essig, Öl, ...). Es gibt 2 Schlafzimmer - Zimmer mit Doppelbett und kleinem Balkon und ein Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten. Auch das Badezimmer ist vollständig ausgestattet inklusive Putzutensilien und Waschmaschiene. Die Wohnung liegt in einem kleinen ruhigen Dorf zwischen Meer und See und man kann viele Ausflugsziele sehr gut erreichen. Wir sind sogar mit dem Auto nach Rom und Tivoli gefahren - waren dann ein paar Kilometer mehr aber die Anbindung war gut. Wer gerne seinben Urlaub in ruhiger Umgebung verbringen möchte aber auch gerne die Umgebung erkundet ist hier genau richtig. Danke Donattella für deine perfekten Service und deinen Willkommensgruß und die Tipps zum Lüften der Wohnung. Wir haben es auch ohne Klimaanlage bei über 30 Grad draußen sehr gut in der Wohnung ausgehalten.

Vacanza da sogno

La casa all'interno del borgo è molto accogliente, la gentilezza e la premura della proprietaria è encomibiale, è la prima volta che mi capita di trovare una persona così disponibile, così premurosa nei confronti dei suoi ospiti. La casa è super accessoriata, c'è di tutto e di più!!!! Qualsiasi cosa serva, in casa la trovi, dalle stuoie per il mare, ai giochi per i bambini. Accurata nei particolari, il soggiorno è stato più che piacevole.... Spero di tornare presto!!!!!

Sommer im Latium zwischen Mittelmeer und Bolsenasee und viel Kultur

Die Ferienwohnung entspricht 100% dem Inserat. Eine große Wohnküche die keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat. Es ist alles vorhanden was man zum guten Kochen benötigt nebst Spülmaschine. Ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett und kleinem Balkon, wo wir abends unsere Badesachen getrocknet haben. Sowie ein Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten. (Die Betten sind bequem und nicht durch gelegen!) Bad mit Waschmaschine sowie Toilette mit Bidet und Dusche. Was für uns (2 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager)ausreichend war! Alles ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Badehandtücher sowie Strandtücher sind genügend vorhanden. Auch Wechselbettwäsche ist genügend da. Für die Ausflüge zum Wasser, Castro di Mare (Mittelmeer) Fahrzeit 30 min und Capodimonte (Bolsenasee) Fahrzeit 20 min sind genügend Strandmatten und 2 Sonnenschirme vorhanden zusätzlich gibt es eine große Kühltasche und genügend Kühlakkus im Tiefkühler. Besonderer Tipp: die Schwefelquellen von Saturnia die Fahrzeit beträg knapp 1Std. aber es lohnt sich!!! Wir sind in Tessennano freudig erwartet wurden. Donatella (sie spricht hervorragend englisch und auch ein wenig deutsch) hatte für uns ein Mittagessen vorbereitet, sehr leckere Pasta und ein Flasche Rotwein war mit dabei. Das ersparte uns nach 1400 km Autofahrt ein Restaurant zu suchen. Wasser Kaffee und Zutaten für das erste Frühstück hatte sie auch schon besorgt! Tessennano selbst ist ein kleines Dorf aber nicht langweilig, Post, Apotheke, Bar, kleiner "Tante Emma-laden" und Bäcker sind mit wenigen Schritten erreicht. In Canino dem größeren Nachbarort gibt es einen Coop Supermarkt wo man alles erhält was man benötigt. Mit Frischfleisch und großer Käse und Wurst-Theke. Wir hatten für unsere Abende das Restaurant "Lo Zodiaco" entdeckt mit großer Außenterrasse super leckeres Essen und sehr preiswert. Im Umkreis von 1 Std Fahrzeit gibt es sehr viele Orte zu entdecken besonders gefallen hat uns Viterbo, Pitigliano, Tuscania, Saturnia, Tarquinia. Bis Rom sind es gut 1 1/2 Stunden Fahrzeit über die SS1, es hat sich sehr gut fahren lassen, wir haben hinter dem Vatican geparkt und von dort aus die Stadt erkundet. Fazit: Urlaub in ruhiger super schöner Lage und trotzdem ist man ganz schnell an den Touristischen Highligts. Wir können Donattellas Ferienwohnung nur weiterempfehlen und werden bestimmt auch wieder kommen. Marco.

A perfect appartment in a small Italian village!

This appartment was spot on! Exactly what we wanted for a family vacation in Italy. It was located in a village in the country side just 1,5 h from the airport. Close to sightseeing, the ocean and the lovely lago di Bolsena. The owner met us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home. We really fell in love with this part of Italy. Thank you Donatella for helping us with suggestions and everything!

Séjour à Tessenano

L'appartement de Donatella est tout à fait conforme à la description, très bien décoré, fonctionnel, et bien ventilé tout en haut de la maison. De plus, la propriétaire vous accueille au mieux, offrant tout ce qui est nécessaire pour une bonne installation, bref elle fait de vous de vrais "coqs en pâte". Le village est très bien placé pour visiter Pise, San Gemignano, mais aussi les sites étrusques ou, pour les amateurs le bord de mer. Bref, un séjour plus que satisfaisant!

Kleines Juwel im Herzen der Tuscia

Wir waren wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hat alles sehr gut vorbereitet. Sogar ein kleines Abendessen war bei unserer Ankunft angerichtet! Die Wohnung ist sehr schnuckelig eingerichtet. Tatsächlich ist der ganze Ort Tessennano außerordentlich nett. Zum Lago di Bolsena, dem Meer oder Tuscania kommt man mit dem Auto schnell. Die Beschreibung ist sehr exakt und wir werden die Wohnung bestimmt wieder nehmen.

Toller Urlaub zwischen Meer und See...

Schönes Haus inmitten einem kleinen Dörfchen, in dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Die Einrichtung bietet jeglichen Komfort, der einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich macht. Inmitten der Tuscia war es schwer zu sagen, ob es schöner ist, den Tag am Meer oder am nahegelegen See zu verbringen. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen!

Perfect apartment in the middle of Tessennano

We stayed 2 wonderfull weeks in this lovely apartment in the middle of peacefull Italian countryside village. The apartment was really nicely furnished and so fully equipped that we couldn't miss anything. We were very impressed when our fantastic hostess Donatella warmly wellcame us with a great package of local delicacies and a lot of maps and tips of places to visit around Tessennano. There are a huge amount of interesting attractions just a short drive away from Tessennano and not least worth experiencing lovely, refreshing lake Bolsena just 20 min drive from the village to spend a relaxing day between attractions. We warmly can reccommend this gorgeous apartment to anyone to be attracted Italian countryside and historical places to visit around Tessennano!

Soggiorno rilassante a Tessennano

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa accogliente casa nel piccolo borgo di Tessennano. Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa, grazie anche alla cortesia della sig.ra Donatella, la proprietaria, che ci ha fatto trovare prodotti tipici da gustare, un toccasana dopo ore di viaggio. Casa tranquilla, pulita e ben accessoriata, da qui è facile raggiungere il mare ed il lago di Bolsena, oltre ai numerosi borghi e siti archeologici presenti in zona ( ci troviamo al confine tra Lazio, Umbria e Toscana). In casa, oltre ai vari generi di intrattenimento (libri, giochi da tavolo e dvd), sono disponibili cartine e mappe della zona. Fuggire qualche giorno da una città caotica e frenetica come la nostra è ritrovarci nella quiete di questo piccolo borgo, è stato come fare un tuffo nel passato, tutto rallenta, i ritmi frenano e questo giova alla mente e al corpo. Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo avuto la fortuna di partecipare alla sagra del paese: molto divertente. Grazie ancora a Donatella per l'ospitalità.

MAGNIFIQUE ACCUEIL

Que dire? sinon que tout était parfait: l'accueil, l'appartement très confortable décoré avec goût. Tout pour se sentir comme chez soi: le frigo avec des produits typiques de la région, la musique, les jeux, les conseils pour les visites. Donatella qui est une femme généreuse et parle bien le français a un sens aigu de la culture, de l'histoire. Tessennano, village chaleureux, proche de la mer, du Lac de Bolsano, des sites historiques, plongés dans la civilisation Etrusque, dans l'époque médiévale, et Renaissance. Il posto ideale.

Appartamento luminoso, fresco, accogliente, fornito di tutto (molto più di quanto descritto nell'annuncio) e pulitissimo. Io, mia moglie e mio figlio ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Proprietaria gentilissima, disponibile e molto preziosa nel dispensare informazioni turistiche. Nei dintorni non vi è che l'imbarazzo nello scegliere cosa visitare: zona veramente stupenda. Per esempio c'è il lago di Bolsena a 15 minuti di macchina o Montalto di Castro a 25 km. Vivamente consigliato per chi cerca pace e tranquillità!

Appartamento accogliente e fornito di tutto (più di quanto descritto nell'annuncio). Proprietaria gentile,cortese e molto preziosa nel dispensare informazioni turistiche. Nei dintorni non vi è che l'imbarazzo nello scegliere cosa visitare: zona veramente stupenda. Noi 5 (2 adulti e 3 ragazzi) ci torneremmo con molto piacere. Vivamente consigliato!

"La casa molto accogliente ed attrezzata e''indicata in un paese davvero piccolo e tranquillo. Si e'' circondati dalle rondini: uno spettacolo eccezzionale. Da qui c''e'' solo l''imbarazzo della scelta circa i luoghi che ci sono da visitare ed ammirare nel raggio di 20-30 km (lago, mare, siti archeologici, cittadine). La nostra famiglia in 5 ha soggiornato comodamente."

We are a retired Australi...

We are a retired Australian couple and have spent much of our lives travelling the world, staying in all types of accommodation. This apartment was perfect for us. Good size, bright, full of great books and local information...AND very comfortable. It is set in a small village which gives you a real feel for the area. Within days you seem to know half the population who are open and friendly. Quiet at night so that only the birds wake you or the lovely breezes that whisper through the village. It really was a joy to come home to...from Lake Bolsena (great eating and swimming) fifteen minutes away OR from great Etruscan sites like Vulci and Tarquinia, OR from the sea forty minutes away. Also there are the nearby fascinating towns like Pitigliano perched high on its tufa rock and even closer Canino and Tusciania. When we arrived the kitchen had food and wine aplenty to see us properly settled in and everything was in immaculate order. The owner, Donatella Bini, is a delight and we are really happy to have met her and we look forward to meeting her again. Andy and Trish

Tutto perfetto. Corrisponde esattamente a quanto descritto. Posto tranquillo, pulito e in ordine. Punto di partenza ideale per visitare i magnifici luoghi della Tuscia e non solo. La signora Donatella è persona di una gentilezza e generosità squisita, sa dare ottimi consigli per trascorrere al meglio la vacanza, dimostrando passione e amore per questi magnifici luoghi della nostra bella e tutta da scoprire, Italia. "Questo è il posto ideale per chi vuole trascorrere del tempo libero immerso nella tranquillità degli uliveti, nella dolcezza delle verdi colline, nell''incanto delle costruzioni in tufo e nell''assaporare stuzzicanti sapori della cucina basso-maremmana. L''alloggio è ubicato nel minuscolo centro storico di Tessennano che affascina tanto per la semplicità quanto per l''intimità. L''appartamento ha una cucina molto ben attrezzata, le stanze accoglienti e il bagno funzionale. Non manca nulla e in più c''è una ricca collezione di libri (tra cui numerose guide turistiche da consultare per esplorare decine e decine di siti turistici), CD, giochi in scatola e films. Abbiamo soggiornato per 15 giorni con una bimba di tre mesi senza alcun tipo di inconveniente. La vista dalla finestra della scala è straordinaria! Si vedono verdeggianti collinette con uliveti e il sole che sorge la mattina. La proprietaria è molto disponibile e pronta a dare suggerimenti per visitare la zona e in più ci ha accolto la sera del nostro arrivo con una tavola imbandita con diversi generi alimentari e un regalo per la nostra piccola. Consigliato a chi vuole liberarsi dal caos metropolitano."

"Traumhafte Unterkunft in einem kleinen verträumten Städtchen! Wunderschönes Apartment mit rundum Blick. Mit sehr viel Geschmack renovierte Wohnung mit englisch/französichem Landhausflair! Unmittelbare Nähe zum herrlichen Lago die Bolseno aber auch zur Maremma. Wir kommen wieder!"
