"I love the Gilmore and have stayed there several times...the staff remembers me and they are always so nice. I got in late and I didn't feel comfortable being on the first floor so Eilyn went out of her way to find me a new room that suited me and a few requests that I had...so sweet. In the morning they have some great coffee and croissants and muffins from a local bakery. Kristen has saved me one on occasion because she knew I was going to come down late. I felt that the pillows on my bed were a little too firm...and Vanessa was at my door within 5 minutes with two softer ones on hand. I loved the music another staff member was listening to in the lobby and she asked me my favorite bands...next thing I know...a favorite song was playing. The staff is at the Gilmore is top notch! The rooms are fairly well appointed and the beds are comfortable! I would like to see safety bars in all of the showers but they are only available in the ADA rooms. There is no gym and that would be a bonus. The Poet's Courtyard and the Rooftop Terrace are not super fancy but really nice places to sit and enjoy. I do wish they had more snacks or longer coffee hours but those are little things! Great place to stay...just like home! xo"
