"I'm not sure what the designers of the room were going for. The bed and sofa were comfortable, but there were massive gaps of unused space without plug ins. The shower in the bathroom had no water retention, so our showers resulted in water flowing all over the tile floor, making it slippery. In retrospect, this may have been an accessible room, but having a slippery floor seemed counterproductive to the safety of someone who'd need it. In the end, we used this hotel for the proximity to Universal Studios. That seemed to be the only perk we found (in our case)."

"We loved our stay at the Tangerine. We did consider some of the chain hotels but we are SO glad that we chose not to. This hotel feels more like a community, we got to know some of our neighbours and the staff really well. The room was just what we needed and the location was ideal for the freeway. Not too far to Disney and it’s super cheap for the trip to Universal (around £10/£12) in an Uber. The pool is super handy and we enjoyed having this just near our hotel room where we didn’t have to go through an entire hotel to get set up. The pool was mostly quiet, which meant we had lots of room for a dip. The kids particularly loved the pool and looked forward to coming back at the end of each day. Nice local restaurants. Local to Warner Bros studios (the tour was good). A final bonus was the free parking, of which we managed to find a space daily. Would we come back? Yes, definitely"
