"The breakfast was ok. I was asked if I wanted any sauces to go with my Scottish breakfast. Which I replied yes. I then had to ask again when we were given more coffee. However after asking twice the sauce never appeared. It’s a real shame as the rest of the staff in all other areas could not be more helpful"

"We booked very last minute and got a good price which included breakfast. We had requested a room with a bath if possible but didn't get one and staff member who checked us in didn't mention the request at all. The room was a good size and clean enough. We were only given 1 coffee cup in the room but that didn't bother us as we didn't need it this time but I'm sure if we'd asked we would have been given one as the staff on the bar/restaurant were very friendly and good. They allowed us to go for a later breakfast which was fantastic and the food in the restaurant the night before was really tasty as was the breakfast of which there was a good amount of selection. We would stay again if in the area."

"Staff are amazing and hotel very clean. Hot water poor and was misinformed on enquiry regarding it. Unfortunatley and do not blame this person as new to position but we were told no hot water for couple days. Spoke to another later and explained due to hotel being quiet and old piped needed to run sink and bath taps together until hot eventually comes through. Other wise 5 stars all the way and we will definitely be back"
