"The inn appears to be the centre of the community, can get busy in the evening, but it is good to see it thrive. Room clean and spacious. Food great, staff friendly and helpful. There appears to be a little work in progress at the moment. There is limited parking at the property but lots of free space at the memorial hall a five minute walk away. Shops can be found nearby at Yelverton or there is the market town of Tavistock. Beautiful dartmoor is also close by."

"Wir hatten ein paar wundervolle Tage an diesem zauberhaften, ruhigen Ort. Dartmoor, Plymouth und die Westküste/Cornwall sind super zu erreichen. Man kann aber herrlich auch einfach die Seele baumeln lassen. In Bere Alston gibt es zwei kleine Supermärkte und eine Haltestelle vom Zug. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Der morgendliche Blick auf den Fluss aus dem Bett heraus ist einfach herrlich! Frische Eier, Milch und Brot haben uns bei der Ankunft begrüßt :) Jonathan war super freundlich und hilfsbereit."

"An amazing place. Lots of character and tastefully decorated for Christmas. Lovely welcome pack and the chilled Prosecco a bonus. Sally was an amazing host, so lovely to meet her. The welcome from the ducks was a delight!! Fantastic pub with food a 2 minute walk away. Well equipped kitchen which enabled us to cook a Christmas dinner. We certainly hope to return. So much more of the are to explore"

"Kim was a brilliant host and we had a lovely stay despite the rain! The apartment was clean and had everything you needed. The underfloor heating was a lovely treat to keep it warm especially when cold. Perfect base to explore Devon and most importantly dog friendly. We had an excellent stay! "
