"Property well situated to local shopping, different restaurants at downtown Banner Elk...many are pet friendly; easy driving distance to 2 ski resorts, Mast General Store at Valle Cruc, Beech Mountain, Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway; nice view of mountains right up to Sugar Mountain. We sat on the porch for morning coffee, afternoon with sweet tea and read in the sunshine and after dinner with blankets and wine to enjoy the view and lights of Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain. The cabin was very clean, smelled wonderful, nice size tv, well-loved couch and love seat, two chairs at bar separating the open concept kitchen/family room, had a nice size refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave, toaster and regular coffee pot (luckily a partial bag of regular coffee and filters were provided, as we took our favorite Kcups; you may want to take sweetener/creamer of choice), there is a washer/dryer (take laundry supplies), plenty of towels and wash cloths provided (take bath soaps and hair products... and extra toilet tissue as there was only 1-1/2 rolls available for 3 adults. The gas fire place did not work but is being replaced per my conversation with manager about the heat situation, as it was very chilly after sundown. There were 3 space heaters provided for comfy heat; there is electric heat but manager controls that. I did ask for that, as I am personally afraid to go to sleep with space heaters. All-in-all, we enjoyed the cabin very much and would definitely go back."

"We highly recommend this property! Alyson was great to deal with, and communicated everything we needed to know. She sends a very detailed info packet that explains everything in the property and how to use it. Very helpful! The townhome was so comfortable and roomy. Comfortable bedding and pillows. The location was great for walking to everything in Banner Elk. It is right across the street from the greenway which we used daily taking our dog to the dog park there. Very pretty creek runs through the park and there is a nice playground for kiddos. Very nicely done. We will rent this property again on our next trip to the area."

"The Hosts are very attentive and will quickly respond which is awesome! Cool game room with light up air hockey, golf, and about 2 other arcade stand alone games. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The only concern is dislike is all of the stairs. There's two stairs cases inside tgar are difficult especially if you're older than about 37yo. There's two stair entrance options from outside, one of which is basic ling stairs and another that could be difficult to use. It's a quite location, nice if you want to get away for peace. There's not many things to do around town, but we enjoyed ourselves. Age range was 10 to 42 years of age. The hosts are nice and kind. There's a hot tub at the location as well."

"Very clean and comfortable cabin. Great location just a short drive down the mountain to shopping and restaurants in Banner Elk and short drive up the mountain to Beech Mountain Resort and Land of Oz. The screened porch was very peaceful with views of the woods and wildlife. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The hot tub temperature is turned down between guests to reduce evapoation, so remember to turn up the temperature at check-in if you want to enjoy the hot tub your first evening. The cabin does not have AC, so it did get a little warm in the warm afternoons. Fans are provided in each bedroom. Overall, a really nice place to stay!"
