"Although the hotel itself was a tad old fashioned, (it was an old building after all) we loved our stay. Firstly the staff were absolutely amazing, very helpful, the gentleman that checked us in, perfect. He tried several attempts to organize a taxi for us, and we must give a big mention to Tracy, who was so lovely and eventually managed to get us get a taxi to our destination. The rooms were spotless, again staff so accommodating. The cooked breakfast was nice and hot, with most ingredients freshly cooked. Definitely will stay there again. 5 Star 🌟"

"Large, clean room with great views across to Edinburgh. Staff were great and a special mention goes to the waiter in the restaurant and the breakfast waiter. Really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fab. The only negative is please don't skimp on toilet paper. That fear of your finger going through causes great anxiety. Spend a little more on quality roll! Parking at the nearby station was easy which makes this place a great base for visits to Edinburgh."

"Lovely flat overlooking the harbour! Perfect for what we needed. Towels available. Even left us some milk and biscuits for our arrival. Only problem was the stairs that were a bit tricky for the kids! Would use again x"

"While the location of these apartments are far from the city center, they were very spacious and allowed us to stretch out for a couple nights. The views are fantastic along the sea and a cool breeze allowed us to sleep with the windows open throughout the night each day. A bottle of complimentary wine was much appreciated as was a well stocked set of kitchen utensils. The negatives we experienced were sticky floors in the main living area and the combination washer/dryer unit that would not dry. This caused us to have to stay up very late on our last night trying to dry our clothes before we could pack up and leave for the rest of our vacation."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay. This was the perfect place for our family, with plenty of space for everyone to relax. Having both a full bathroom and an additional half bath made a big difference and added so much convenience during our stay. The location, just north of Edinburgh, was ideal for our family. It provided an excellent base for day trips and exploring the surrounding area. The hosts provided clear instructions and communicated with us throughout the process, making everything easy from check-in to check-out. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly return on a future visit."
