"A really nice place to stay. Good sized rooms in a guest house setting. Although no front desk or receptionist, the remote customer service was excellent when needed. "

"So glad I booked my Edinburgh stay at the Village hotel! The front desk staff were so helpful with everything from bus directions to great spots for affordable comfort food. I loved the gym and the staff there were also wonderful. The pool, sauna, and steam room were awesome treats after a hard workout. I was a bit disappointed with the powdered eggs at the breakfast buffet, but that was a very small detail missed in an otherwise perfect stay! The proximity to two different bus stops right outside made getting to the city centre super easy and made a huge difference! Overall, I'd highly recommend the Village Hotel to anyone looking for a quality hotel experience at an affordable price."

"The cabin was cool and compact. It sloped down towards the porthole which was a bit disconcerting. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was par excellence."

"Staff were outstanding every request catered to with perfection and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were immaculate very modern and nice personal touches. Ross events manager went above and beyond to cater to our requirements "

"The beds in our room were set back in a recess behind the window which meant that a strip of light between the curtains and the wall lay across our eyes from sunrise. So frustrating! Breakfast lovely and really diverse considering it was free but it was completely chaotic and almost impossible to get a sausage no matter how long or how many times you queued. Sign in the lift said the emergency button didn’t work and provided a number to call but couldn’t get any signal if we’d needed to. Room well equipped if a bit shabby. Really noisy from very early morning onwards because the flushing of loos made a really loud creaking sound throughout the whole building. "
