Hotel Ziggy on Sunset

"I was looking for a location close to Hollywood Boulevard towards attending a concert. The price for Hotel Ziggy was within my range for the room itself, but be aware the other charges added substantially to the overall costs. My room (2025) was quiet at night and very comfortable. No in-room coffee maker but they have hot, delicious coffee in the lobby until 11. I loved the location. As you exit to the right of the front door, you walk towards casual dining locations on Sunset Boulevard and you can walk up the hill to Hollywood Boulevard. Otherwise, turn left as you exit the hotel for more upscale dining and cool bars and restaurants. Walk down Olive Street to find yourself at Santa Monica Blvd, which has shops, bars and restaurants (fancy and casual) in both directions. For my fellow walkers, head towards Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills. If you are a music fan, the hotel also has live music in its tiny performance area! A cool place, for sure."

"Lovely hotel. Great staff. Breakfast wasn’t great (but it was free!). Our main issue was the terrible air con in the room. The unit was next to the floor so didn’t really cool the room below 79f!"

"This was a really cute, clean, friendly, and comfortable boutique hotel. I stayed on the second floor and it was nice and quiet. The room was really cute and spacious. The 2 women that I encountered at the front desk were extremely nice and helpful. Of note, the rooftop bar is undergoing renovations so if that’s something you’re interested in, I would call to be sure it has been reopened before booking. I will say the only downside is the $35/night parking fee (Yes,I know it’s LA and parking everywhere is expensive). I feel this is a bit steep seeing as it’s just in their parking lot and not in a gated or otherwise secure parking garage. Regardless, I would absolutely book this hotel again in the future."
