Disappointed that I couldn’t book an evening meal Breakfast was horrendous paper cups as they had not time to wash mugs 2 staff running around to try and service a busy breakfast service was unfair on them

A very comfortable and relaxed hotel. Clean, well appointed bedroom, friendly, helpful staff. pleasant, if uninspiring breakfasts, well prepared food served in the bar with chef's specials to round out the menu. Parts of the exterior of one wing in need of some cosmetic attention but the rest of the facade of this massive, rambling property not at all bad and the interiors good. Beautiful countryside surroundings as well as attractive golf course.

The room was an excellent size, easy to get to, and easy to park. Room service was ok, as long as the bar is not busy. The noise from the road was a bit noisy, if your room is at the front of the hotel.
