"Booked a “best estuary” view room and it did not disappoint, view was amazing and we had a lovely large balcony. We had fantastic weather for October so we made the most of this beautiful location. Hotel staff were super helpful, breakfast was good and we also used the Spa which was a nice bonus. All in all would definitely return, location of this hotel is perfect for winderful views and short walking distance to all that Salcombe has to offer."

"The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav. The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door. The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...

Von hier lassen sich wunderbare Wanderungen entlang der Küste unternehmen, insbesondere Richtung Salcombe ist es traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist nicht groß aber ideal aufgeteilt. Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht um sich problemlos selbst zu versorgen. Das Bad ist recht klein aber in einem neuwertigen Zustand. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Unterkunft gerne weiter empfehlen."

"The property was decorated with a seaside theme consistent with the location. It was perfectly done with expert touches and artefacts that added significantly to our 'enjoyment' of our holiday. The views were stunning with both countryside and sea views across to burgh island. Walks from the door, through the picturesque village of Thurlestone joined up with the south west coastal path bringing beaches and rocky coves within reach. We were treated to some fantastic sunsets and could enjoy them from the property while eating in the garden. Our host was very attentive and welcoming and easy to communicate with. All in all we had a great holiday!"
