"This hotel feels like a blast from 1970s Mexico—but not in a charming, nostalgic way. The property has clearly seen better days. I stayed on the third floor, where they were actively working on a couple of rooms with the doors left open, so dust and concrete debris were spread throughout the hallways. I’m pretty sensitive to that kind of thing, and I felt it immediately in my nose. The room itself was nothing special—very outdated—and the bathroom was especially dark and worn. Overall, it just didn’t feel clean or well-maintained. For a few dollars more, you’re much better off staying somewhere else. Unless every nearby hotel is completely booked, I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place."
