"Where do we begin! The Upper Rideau bnb is by far one of the best bnb’s we’ve had the pleasure to experience. From the moment we stepped inside and were greeted by Donna we were treated like royalty. The room was immaculate and we had our own ensuite that included a large jacuzzi bath ( which we used to soak our tired muscles from two days of kayaking). The breakfast was a chef’s dream with wonderful baked goodies and daily full hot meals of eggs, bacon, fruit and toast. Absolutely, delicious. Highly recommend this place. Hopefully we will be back again in the near future."

"The only thing more spectacular than this property was the responsiveness of the host. Throughout our wonderful experience our host was caring without being intrusive. The only time we met was at our request to deal with a small problem that required him to visit and even then he politely requested our consent for him to visit.All enquiries were answered within a few minutes.The property was exceptional in every way. We travelled from Calgary to be there and reconnect with family.It was a perfect venue for rain or shine.On one day we hosted 4 generations of our family for a small reunion which included our 101 year old matriarch who loved it!The experience and the treatment by the host inspired us to leave it as clean as we could and was the topic of discussion numerous times during the long drive home to Calgary."

"I rented this cottage to be close to members of my family. I was really surprised to find such a nice waterfront place. Anything we need is there. The porch with the view on the lake is just perfect. Every room was very clean and when I had a question, the host came back to me rapidly."

"This was a beautiful property and the cottage we stayed in was lovely. It had great open spaces and beautiful bedrooms. The kitchen was very modern with all new appliances. The host was very attentive and friendly. He made sure that all of our needs were met. He directed us to local attractions and offered to light our fire for us.The only drawback for us was the walk to the waterfront. There is a steep hill that has stairs, but as we are both seniors and my partner has had an ankle replacement, we found the climb a bit challenging and only ventured down once."

"Booked again for next year. Pretty much says it worked for my family 6 adults 7 children 9-14. Bunkie was perfect for the teens to have their own space. Lots of seating indoor and out, sun and shade, Everything was as per the listing. We found the beds comfortable and lots of towels. Thank you Mark and Sue for sharing your lovely place on the lake."

"We had a wonderful 3 nights staying at Tatiana's cottage. She and Val welcomed us wonderfully and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay - including watercraft and wood for the wood stove/campfire (when the temperature dropped unexpectedly.) The location is secluded and quiet. There was excellent swimming from the swimming platform in the lake and a nearby hiking/walking trail that was easily found. This was a true cottage experience and we would book again."
