"I will definitely stay here again. Great location, staff are superb and very friendly. Restaurant is really nice with plenty of menu choices. Only thing worth noting is the room I was in was adjoining on both sides and you hear everything if you are a light sleeper."

"Hotel was clean and good overall. Decor was a bit dated. Biggest issue was that there was no mirror in the main part of the room, only the bathroom and on the back of the door, which was up a hallway. I needed to do my hair for the wedding I was attending so needed a plug socket and mirror, but the nearest socket was about 5m away so I couldn’t see/reach. I’d highly recommend putting a socket and mirror in close proximity so the room is usable for that purpose."

"The pub is set in a beautiful village and is old and quaint. It has s very close to Ham Hill Country park. It has a large bar area with lots of unique table spots to relax in. There is also a garden which I didn't use but looked nice from the window in my room. There is a campsite which is well appointed and great for a campervan stopover which is what I originally planned to do. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu and specials offered a wide range of food and all of our party were very pleased with their evening meal choices. The quality of the food and service was excellent. The pub and the rooms are dog friendly and there is even a dog menu. I was disappointed with my room. It is furnished to a good standard and was very clean and made up well but I had a poor night's sleep. I booked the single room which backs onto the ladies loos so is noisy with banging doors until closing time. There is also a green emergency fire escape light that stays on all night and illuminates the room. There is also a fan/motor that runs throughout the night. Also please be aware that no breakfast is served at the pub which was also a disappointment. The pub do suggest breakfast venues in the room info."

"This place is stunning, clearly ran with a personal passion and pride by both husband and wife. They were lovely people, the room was stunning with a great attention to detail, comfortable immaculate room with ‘little extras’. Garden also beautiful and peaceful and a lovely place to sit out. We would choose this place first time every time we are in the area. As for the breakfast, well tomatoes were fresh from the garden so what more can I say, again delicious and made with care and pride, lots of choice and yummy ."
