Unique and relaxing stay

We had a lovely stay at this unique character-filled small hotel. The hosts Andrea and his son were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great value and included local yoghurts, breads, pastries and delicious local meat and cheese. We also really enjoyed evening sundowners on the little terrace upstairs.

This is a very unique property: A 700-year old building surrounded by amazing views of Torino. The breakfast was the best I’ve had anywhere. Fresh fruit, croissants, homemade pastries, juices, local ham and cheese, yogurt, cappuccino. The owner was so nice and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at Ostello del Castello! The hotel is quaint, charming, and full of character. Andrea was a truly wonderful host—warm, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. A real find.

We stayed here one night only and that was because we headed up a day early to do the Bernina Express. What a brilliant choice to do that as the hotel is just so beautifully stunning. The staff were just wonderful and very very helpful. We couldn’t have picked better. Have to say Tirano is a beautiful town, often overlooked because of it’s illustrious neighbours like Lake Como and St Moritz Andrea is the perfect host. We will go back

We loved our stay. The property had a lovely charm and coziness. Elisa was an amazing host, she helped us with everything from taxi, late night warm milk for the kids. She made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as good as it could be. On our checkout, she waited in the rain with us to make sure we got the taxi safely and gave us umbrellas. I would definitely recommend this property and be back myself for sure.
