"Overall we liked our stay at La Concha, but a few things were annoying for a hotel that was supposed to be highly rated. First, the A/C conked out on 3 separate occasions during our 5 day trip. Not good. Second, we made three requests to have someone fix the blinds. On the first trip the young kid, who didn't speak English, just yanked on the blind with the stick, even though you you could see where the blinds had come undone at several spots along the length of the blinds. Someone needed to show up with a ladder and get up there and re-attached the blinds to the individual rings. This is important because in order to sleep we need total darkness, which we couldn't achieve with blinds that didn't shut all of the way. But we loved the pool and being close to the beach and even the casino was fun."
