"This hotel is not what is implied on Expedia. this is a "love hotel" intended for sexual encounters, something we found out after the fact exists in Japan. the doors to the rooms are locked, and cannot be opened from inside. the rooms have condoms and other sexual devices on hand. To leave you room you had to call someone at the front desk (or some back room), at which point they could let you out. They also only spoke Japanese. If this is what you are expecting, then fine, that is your business... but this is not made obvious on Expedia and you will be in for a shock if you are expecting a regular hotel. I am not as upset with the hotel if this is their business, the issue is how it is listed and described on Expedia... there was no obvious way to know what we were in for."
