"The check in is not convenient. We have to go to another location to check in. No WiFi. Upon check in, we found garbage on the top of the closet, and the bath towel has plenty of holes. The AC is not working. No extra blanket in the room. So we went to another location to ask for extra blankets and one clean tidy towel two times, they promised to send them over, no one came. No cups in the WC at all. No place for soap within the shower area. We stayed for two nights, very noisy, always woke up...

"First let me tell you what all were excellent About this property. 1- Check in check out. Super easy. 2- Location. Very close to the sanctuary and shops to buy souvenirs and food. 3- The view was excellent as we could see the sanctuary. 4- Extremely clean. That’s it. The price wasn’t super low, especially considering that there were 0 amenities. Only towels and soap. That’s it!! I’m not sure if this is how all hotels here are? I’ve never been to a hotel where there was no basic toiletries...

Top Tomar Hotel Reviews

Hotel Santa Maria

10/10 Excellent

"The kindness of the staff, the facility and the breakfast was amazing. Best hotel of my stay."

Thomar Story

10/10 Excellent

"The pension is well located. Our room had a kitchen space; so it was quite roomy by Portuguese standards. The room was also very clean and had air conditioning. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast offered enough selection. Nevertheless, this is a place with rooms on three different floors and no elevator. One has to be willing or able to navigate stairs with luggage."

Santo Antonio de Fatima

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel room with 2 twin beds for me and my husband is spacious. There’s a balcony that you could be able to see the Basilica. There’s hotel is literally about 3 to 5 minutes walk to the sanctuary. The hotel to the terminal bus station is about 8 minutes. It’s just hilly and the pavements are cobbled stones,a little harder to roll the baggage. We got Bolt from the terminal to the hotel and paid 3.69 euros. We had to checkout early at 5:00 and there were no Bolt or Ubers available at the early morning. We ended up walking to the terminal and only 8 minutes"

O Paço - Exclusive Accommodation

10/10 Excellent

"Claudia checked us in and she was just all sunshine and light. Charming, helpful and just a pleasure to talk to. The room was great with a great view of the Convent of Christ and Castle of Tomar on the hill. Met one of the owners briefly and he was very helpful in getting us a cab. The restaurant which is attached to the hotel, but not included with the hotel was very very good."
