"The entire property seemed clean, well-maintained. It was difficult to find the hutong (alley) because the sign bearing the hutong's name was on the western side of the hutong wall, facing east, and I walked from the west looking for it. =)"

"A bit confusing at first. I'd booked the Xinjiang Hotel and they couldn't find the booking. Then referred me to the Xinjiang Plaza 100 meters away. Very frustrating when you cant find anyone that speaks English. Apart from that it was a very good place to stay. When I booked at the hotel it excluded breakfast. At the plaza the price included breakfast and was cheaper."

"Very close to Jishuitan subway exit G1 and lots of excellent eateries plus 5 min walk to the beautiful Beijing inner city lake system. Highly recommended - just pinch a chair from the lobby to make your in-room stay even more comfortable:))"
