"Very unique property centrally located to explore the Catskills area. Kingston is a nice little town with a lot of great restaurants. You can hike in the adjacent state park along the Hudson from the property or hike in the Catskills 30 minutes out. Quiet relaxing property. "

"The 1712 house will exceed all your expectations. Roomy beyond imagination, every one of our guests had all the privacy and comfort they desired. This alone helped to make our visit a most memorable experience. The kitchen is well stocked, the bigger the group the better. The grounds are breath taking, the endless pastures are well groomed. Nature abounds on the grounds and our family morning and evening walks were magical. The pool was a great place to unwind and to gather to share our stories and talk about our day. We will definitely revisit this warm and spacious home again."
"We had a great time staying here! The house is a gorgeous historic house with modern amenities. It was a short drive to Kingston which was super convenient. We loved that we could bring our dog with us as well. It is on a main road, but we didn't find that to be a disturbance at all. I would definitely come back here again!!"
"We visit this area every year and have stayed in many places. Library Lodge was as quaint and comfortable as they come. Many comforts & amenities are provided for. Beautiful kitchen and living space. Comfortable beds and showers.
A reminder as I missed it when booking, but there are no traditional TVs here but a modern projector that you can stream from in the living room only. Super simple to use but worth mentioning so you can prepare if needed. This is great to unplug and decompress, which we gladly took advantage of but if traveling with a group that wants entertainment I recommend packing laptops or iPads to connect to via the included WiFi. Most places in this area are "unplugged" but I favor cuddling up to a flick at night or streaming news in the morning which I was able to do with ease.
This place is dog friendly, we did not have a dog with us but the place was spotless and cozy with little to no reminders that dogs may visit from time to time!
The house is incredibly spacious and allowed us to spread out and enjoy the sights and sounds from various sitting areas in and out.
