Fantastic break.

From check in which was very straightforward to checkout which was exactly the same we had a fantastic 5 night break. Great communication from Will the owner made everything easy. Clean room with comfortable bed and bedding. Special mention for the breakfast which was spot on with some great local produce. Lovely outdoor seating area too. We'll definitely return. Thank you.

Didn’t like the locking system as same key used to open main door as well as bedroom door. Water was lovely and hot in bathroom.

It was ok

We stayed in room 9, It’s in a good position, the room and whole guesthouse was very clean but the mattress is quite uncomfortable, we both woke several times. There was dirty sheets left at the bottom of the top flight of stairs and a bag of rubbish. The breakfast was quite good, you picked what you wanted and then it was all pre cooked and left under warmers. It was in a great location and William gave very clear information about the local parking.

Easy self check in, with clean (spotless), modern and spacious property and room. Excellent service and a very tasty breakfast each morning with an efficient way of ordering the night before. The owners are very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Stay

Really enjoyed this stay, such a great location, it is up a little bit of a hill, but most accommodation in Torquay seems to be. This is easily walkable to Torquay harbour. The B&B is in perfect condition, every detail has been thought about. Check-in was seamless. The owner Hannah is lovely, she makes you feel really at home. The B&B is beautifully decorated and very clean. There are USB sockets on the wall next to your bed. They have an honesty bar so you can get drinks/ snacks that you can have in the front garden. Breakfast was well organised, you choose a time and menu selection and they make it for you. The only thing that I would change about this stay is to opt for a more premium sausage at breakfast, but that's personal taste. Free parking is basically impossible to get, but there is Riviera Leisure Centre nearby where you can park for 24 hours for £8, this does require coins only though.

The property is in an ideal position to get to marina and close to bus stops. The owners are coping well under the covid conditions and at no time did we feel unsafe. We would definitely stay here again with no hesitation and recommend The Montana

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, Hannah and William are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. There is a good choice of freshly cooked food for breakfast along with the usual toast and cereals available. The rooms are spotless and not cramped. I would thoroughly recommend this B & B.

Had a lovely few days in Torquay with my partner. The Montana is situated a short walk to the sea front and town centre. It’s a very smart bed and breakfast, Hanna was very lovely and always helpful. Great choice of breakfast. Would stay here again.

The perfect bed and breakfast hotel. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Spotless, excellent breakfast with plenty of choices, friendly and helpful owner. Great position, close to beach and town. No parking onsite, but we were able to find free places to park in side streets very close to hotel.
