"Beautiful apartment and the kids LOVED the heated pool - able to swim in early April! Lots of space, pool house downstairs such a bonus for relaxing, toys and games plus pool toys and AMAZING views of Mt Etna in the mornings. Francesco was a wonderful host who was so kind and helpful to us. Thank you also to his son and wife. Highly recommended!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Zash. It's an excellent hotel. The restaurant has great dinner offerings and an amazing breakfast. The service was next level. Two things that were not problems for us but something you should generally be aware of is that the hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere. If you dont have a car, it might make things challenging. There is also a train right next to the property. It never really bothered us, but its there...and you will hear it. "

"This is an oasis behind an automated gate that defies expectations from the street. Gorgeous rooms, beautiful grounds and exceptional restaurant. Don’t expect much from the Giarre neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. We regretted the rain that prevented us from using the beautiful pool. Easy access to Mt Etna."

Breakfast itself was a highlight—beautifully prepared with fresh local ingredients and something new each day. "Amazing experience at Puleera. Such a unique location with views of the Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea. The staff was friendly and caring, it really felt like they knew us just after our first day. Food was delicious and clearly sourced from local ingredients. I recommend asking about the excursions like Mt. Etna hikes and horseback riding!"
