"We spent 2 days at this hotel/motel. Felt we got an extremely good deal. Nice room. Convenient location. Easy to get in to Arona. We were able to walk in and out again, though took 45 minutes. Good exercise! Breakfast was part of the deal & was excellent. Slight degree of disrepair in the brickwork around outside acting as a trip hazard. But otherwise very good."

"I will start by saying we arrived at night, which may have impacted our opinion of the property. The property is an old castle and it presents as one, specifically at night. Lots of unused space, makes part of the property feel empty. We had some confusion around dining, and the availability of dinner service, making it a bit confusing. We were told yes to dinner service, and no by the staff at the restaurant… and ultimately had to have the front desk call to rectify the situation. In the morning, the light changed the mood. The staff were friendly and kind! Overall, it was my first time staying in an older castle, and now have a better idea of expectations. Neat experience!"

"We were looking for a relaxing base from which to explore the Lake Orta region. Ilaria’s place was perfect for our needs! It was spotlessly clean and private (just a single neighbour next door but not directly overlooked), and had all the amenities needed for our family break. The views from the outside patio of the house are lovely and the pool was a welcome addition for hot afternoons spent relaxing at the house. Ilaria was an excellent host. Communication and pre-arrival support was second-to-none and she was present for check-in to help us settle in. It is a short walk from the house into the beautiful Vacciago village where there is a lovely small store for essentials. There are several supermarkets about a 10 minute drive away in Gozzano. Vacciago is a pretty village. There are walking trails from the door and the Foundazione Calderara art gallery is worth a visit. We walked, down through the pretty village of Corconio, to the free public beach at Spaggia Miami to swim in the lake, as well as driving down and spending a day at the private beach club there. We drove into the stunning Orta San Giulio on several mornings and evenings, parking at Via Panoramic. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful town, walked the lakeside path, visited the Sacro Monte di Orta, took the boat to Isola San Giulio and enjoyed drinks and meals in various restaurants and bars. We drove round the lake to visit Omegna and Pella and also drove to Stresa on Lake Maggiore one evening. Perfect!"

"Wir waren für eine Woche hier. Die Lage mit tollem Blick auf den Lago Maggiore haben wir sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet incl. zwei Klimaanlagen. Der Bereich um das Haus ist vorbildlich gepflegt. Es gibt Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem abgeschlossenen Grundstück und zudem die Möglichkeit, das Auto in einer Garage zu parken. Rundherum ein gelungener Urlaub, klare Weiterempfehlung von uns!"

"This is a very efficient studio apartment with a lovely garden for sitting outside. The kitchen is a bit awkwardly designed and the TV is very small. There is space to park a car at the end of the street (2min walk). The owner is very friendly and helpful. While not on a lake, both Lake Orta and Maggiore are close by."
