Escape to the tranquillity of the Devon countryside at Ashwell Cottage, a charming and beautifully renovated retreat set within the grounds of our home, Ashwell House. Tucked away at the end of a peaceful country lane, the cottage offers a wonderful combination of privacy, comfort and easy access to some of South Devon’s most-loved destinations.

Fully renovated in 2019, the 400+ year old cottage provides around 700 sq ft of comfortable living space. Downstairs, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a cosy main bedroom and a modern shower room. Upstairs is a welcoming living room with a comfortable sofa bed and log burner — perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the countryside or coast.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fridge freezer, induction hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There are connected TVs in the kitchen, bedroom and living room, along with fast and reliable broadband.

Outside, your own terrace garden provides a lovely spot for morning coffee, an al fresco meal or simply unwinding in the sunshine. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the wider gardens around Ashwell House — just let us know if you’d like to take a stroll through them during your stay.
