"It was certainly a beautiful hotel. It needs to be renovated. I was told that this winter they are closing down for a massive renovation project adding a lift and bringing the hotel up to par. The staff were excellent. The pool was divine, as was the general out door area and the bar was elegant but fun. Looking forwards to trying the renovated version. If travelling to see lake Como, it is a fair distance and generally a car is needed."

"An amazing property near Lakes Varese and Maggiore. Such a stunning building! We had a wonderful week here, enjoying what the villa had to offer as well as exploring parts of the surrounding country. The hosts were efficient and super-helpful."

"Nice hotel, booked a suite for 1 night on the way to locarno, very nice room & wish i had booked for longer to take in varese more but i know now for next time. Very good breakfast & we made use of the nice swimming pool before leaving, my great granddaughter loved it & said the room was VIP with 2 balconies & 2 bedrooms so that made us laugh. Would stay again & an easy drive from malpensa."

"Amazing and beautiful view. The rooms are small, but typical for Europe. The real gem is the view from the rooms and the restaurant. Food was great there as well. My only complaint, is no air-conditioning, so be careful in the summer months."
