Wonderful home
My husband and I had a great time staying near Harris Neck. This home had exactly what we needed for a nice visit to the refuge. It was a quiet area, nice large backyard, and comfortable and clean. Plan ahead - there is no stove or oven! We did use the electric burner and the toaster oven, so meals worked out okay. There are no nearby stores or restaurants. As long as you plan ahead, all the other amenities are great! The refuge was well worth the trip!

We have stayed at your suites several times and are always happy with our experience ❣️I would recommend some additional towels and wash clothes for longer stays and a new mattress would be great🙏. We love this place and it is affordable and we definitely will stay again🙂

Duplex was as described. Had it been a bit warmer we would have really enjoyed the screened porch. Bed was comfy. Shower had plenty of hot water. Very close to Harris Neck Refuge.. we did the drive through. Was a good midway point for us. Convenient to I-95.

Little piece of heaven!
Very quiet surrounded by nature exactly what I was looking for! Halfway between Savannah and Brunswick was a perfect location only 8 miles off the major highways. Seafood awesome in the area, lots to do, very clean and beautiful little place. Bonus well-behaved pets allowed! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay. Nice and quiet place. Very clean. Enjoyed the Harris Neck wildlife refuge right across the road. Drove to Savannah and Tybee,about 30 mins away. There's so much to see and do.

Wonderful Stay
This was a last minute choice for our stay in this part of Georgia and it was just wonderful. The lodging is rural but not hard to find and it is on a large property that is perfect for sitting and enjoying the wildlife and unwinding. We sat on the porch and watched deer and birds at dusk. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed even an extra comforter since the temperature was really chilly the night that we were there. We didn't have any one in the duplex next to us so not sure about noise from them. The Harris Neck wildlife refuge is just down the road and I highly recommend taking a drive through there. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to queries. I would highly recommend this place!

My husband and I along with our dog enjoyed 3 nights at this small rental. It was just the right size for us. Since the kitchen is sparsely furnished, we brought along some camping supplies to be able to have more cooking options. Our dog loved playing in the large yard. We loved exploring the Harris Neck wildlife refuge. We bought the most wonderful seafood from the Shell Creek Seafood market near the Piggly Wiggly. Fresh and a great price.

Great place.
This area is very quiet and peaceful. There were no guests staying in the other side so that was a plus. The sleeper sofa is very uncomfortable but aren’t they all? I suggest bringing a mattress topper. There is no stove but We made a tasty broiled seafood supper in the toaster oven. We chose Hunters Cafe the next night but won’t go there again. Hiking the preserve is a must!!

Clean, relatively new build with basic creature comforts. Super close to the nature preserve, and nearby to the Sapelo Ferry and Darien. Safe, super quiet. Would return. Perfect for road warriors - excellent wifi.

Another wonderful stay
Stayed in Suite A this time. The bed was SOOO comfortable and , as usual, the little extras in the kitchen were a thoughtful touch. The screen in porch is nice to have as you sit and just overlook the peaceful back yard. This time though I did swing on the swing hanging from a large beautiful tree. Sweet! I just love this property and will stay there any time I'm in the area.

There was a screened-in back porch with chairs, table, and ceiling fans. The lawn was well kept, there was a swing hanging from one of the trees. The inside was well insulated from outside noise. Good Kitchen and dining table.

Proximity to the Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge is a key attraction: spring migration and spring-summer nesting / hatching bring thousands of birds here. Property borders the refuge, and is itself nbordered by live oaks and bird houses that bring red bellied woodpeckers, eastern bluebirds, black and white warblers, Northern Paula andany more tomyoir doo step. Property now relatively new, spacious, and we'll equipped; excellent WiFi is a bonus.

AMAZING!!!!!
Set in the perfect spot for enjoying nature. This place is great overall the work they did on this place is top notch. Very very quiet, and the stars at night amazing. Had two deer in the yard at night. Have to check out OLD SCHOOL DINER Down the road the food crazy good. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay on my photography trip and hope I can stay again next year. The location was PERFECTION. The room was cozy yet sizeable and the large shower couldn't have been more appreciated after a day of tromping through and laying in the grasses at the Harris Neck Wildlife Preserve, which is literally right across the street. Loved the little extras in the kitchen. Very thoughtful. Owners were very response and saved me quickly from my own silly mistake. It was so peaceful and quiet and I felt safe. I'm so glad the property owners have made this available for rent. THANK YOU!!!

Not a dog friendly area
We booked this place because it is a pet friendly and we love to take our dogs with us for our trips , but unfortunately all the area around is not allowing a dogs, we couldn't take them for a walks in any trails around . Make sure to read a description of the place , there is a kitchen , but not the stove , not a grill , not even a firepit . You can only mikrowawe or get toasted your food . I recommend to bring Your own electric kettle if You want a boiling water . The couch , lazy boy , pillows , porch chairs everything very dirty , we have to cover everything with our own blankets , so we can sit on it . Otherwise we loved everything else , very nice yard , peace and quiet . We love the swing outside .

Great place. great location.
The location was as good as it gets for us. Walked across street to Harris Neck. No cost. It's a pristine park. Bird central. Look it up. We felt like we owned it. Very very little traffic. Rental was newly updated. Mattress was better than mine. Brought my own pillow. I like goose down. Large private lot. Dead quiet at night. Stars galor Sat at end of driveway. Not a car went by in over 2 hours. Whipporwills singing ocassionally. Just minutes from Altman's seafood. Best ever seafood. Host was terrific. Took care of an issue immediately and was very professional! I cant wait to stay there again. Also. boat dock just 1 min away. Fished on dock. Caught some whiting and sheephead. Low tide the dolphins cruised by. How cool. Great sunup at the boat dock /park. Went to Cumberland island on a day trip. 1hour 15 min drive. Each way. Fun place. Saw the horses on the pristine beach. Our new go to place to stay on the coast. Even Subway (10 min away) was good. Not like the yucky one by me in Atlanta. Best' Jeff and Cathy.

If you want to get a good birding experience staying here is best in order to visit HNNWR early or late in the day. Really quiet.

vinyl sofa needs replacing as uncomfortable. Only 1 coffee mug, one towel, one drinking glass, NO soap after our long drive. But location and surrounding Federal Wildlife Preserve made it enjoyable, and I might come back. Near to Darien, Brunswick and Savannah. VERY convenient, and for our dogs too, a large yard.

Oasis in the Marsh
Quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and full of wildlife...I enjoyed my stay in this cabin immensely. Amenities were better than expected and described accurately. Neighbors were awesome and helpful. The refuge provided daily surprises (deer, birds, opossum, raccoons, alligators...) and I rested easily at night. Photography is a hobby so this area was a dream. I hope to stay here again next summer!

Great for wildlife enthusiast and walking/exercise
We had a great time at Harris Neck. Take an electric frying pan and you will have everything that you need (no stove). Ren Anderson was very helpful and kind. The property location is very secluded and away from town and restaurants, grocery stores, but not far away. The condo was very clean with lots of space. Loved the shower! It is stocked with plenty of towel for your stay. Great place........

Great stay!
This was our second time staying and enjoyed it just as much as the first. There is a great park right across from the property that our kids really enjoyed. The little crabs that crawl around near the park entrance were a hit. They spent most of the time running around watching them go in and out of little holes in the earth❤️

The listing did not state there were no pairing knives, food grater, no mixing bowls, sauce pans, frying pans, serving bowls, collander, and the biggest neglect NO STOVE. And no bbq grill. I bought one while 5here si I make something to et. Much like a 3 star hotel room I nm is not set up for more than a one night stay.. Was not very clean, and the sheets and towels looked 30 years old.

I am very sorry you felt it did not serve your needs. 99 % + of people love it. I specifically do NOT list a stove or full oven, but DO list the microwave and toaster/convection oven. I would love to provide a full cooking setup, including an outside grill, but given the desire to have it fresh for the next guest, I do not want frying inside. And given the secluded setting next door to the National Wildlife Refuge, I can't encourage outdoor cooking to entice the animals, or charcoal sparks to jeopardize the NWR during dry conditions. I appreciate your comments.
