They even offer loaner sleds and wax for anyone who wants to try sledding the dunes at the nearby White Sands National Park. I would absolutely recommend The Classic Desert Aire to anyone looking to visit Alamagordo or the White Sands. Even the towels were thicker and softer than most hotels these days!"

"I was there a total of four nights and they did not clean the rooms once I had to ask for towels every night some nights they had some some nights they didn't one staff member was particularly rude but the rest of the staff was very nice the stove in our room did not work will not be going back next week already reserved a new spot"

"Light fixture came off the wall and electrocuted me. Staff refused to return my deposit. I wasn’t even in the room when the fixture fell. "
