"We didn't do the breakfast. We arrived later evening and Windy was so, so helpful. The bed was good, the bathroom fine, but the air conditioning was noisy so we didn't use it. "

"The room was a bit dated but very clean and, honestly, it fit the retro vibe we were looking for. Staff was amazing and the sit down breakfast was a real treat compared with most hotel offerings. They even offer loaner sleds and wax for anyone who wants to try sledding the dunes at the nearby White Sands National Park. I would absolutely recommend The Classic Desert Aire to anyone looking to visit Alamagordo or the White Sands. Even the towels were thicker and softer than most hotels these days!"

"I was there a total of four nights and they did not clean the rooms once I had to ask for towels every night some nights they had some some nights they didn't one staff member was particularly rude but the rest of the staff was very nice the stove in our room did not work will not be going back next week already reserved a new spot"

"Judy was an amazing host. We entered the home and were surprised to find so many extra amenities. There were bottles of water and book bags for day hiking. They had sleds for the sand dunes too. There was a basket of little toiletries in case we forgot something. Instructions for each device were laminated for easy use: TVs, grill, oven, AC unit, etc. I could tell that Judy has a passion for hosting and we are so lucky to have found this place. "
