"The service in the bar and the restaurant was extremely slow . Food was good but wait staff did not look after their tables. English was a second language and although staff were polite they did not always understand what was being ordered or requested. It’s a lovely location and rooms were comfortable."

"I really enjoyed the breakfast and the in house bar. The room was charming and slightly dated, but no big deal. The staff were excellent and delightful. My big complaint was that this hotel is next to a church. And in the AM the bells rang out at 3 different times. I know the hotel can't fix this, but it might have been better if it wasnt a surprise."

"While vintage in appearance, the Grand Hotel looks impeccable and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. While we did not have the available hot breakfast, we chose the fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals and out of the oven, delicious scones. Highly recommended. "
